Sakura Moscow
Entrepreneur and philanthropist Yutaki Miyanishi from Japan wants to transfer 300 seedlings of a plant to Moscow for subsequent planting, which is one of the main symbols of the Land of the Rising Sun.
250 sakura seedlings will be planted in Tsaritsyno Park, along the future ecological path. And the remaining 50 are likely to “settle” in the Pharmaceutical Garden on Prospekt Mira or in front of the Moscow State University building on Vorobyovy Gory.
The Botanical Garden of Moscow State University will take an active part in the creation of the Moscow cherry blossom alley. By order of the mayor of the capital, specialists will analyze the soils in Moscow parks for their compliance with the requirements of a whimsical plant.
It is expected that the seedlings will be handed over this year in three batches of 100 trees each.
Exotic plants are getting closer. So, from Ecuador will soon begin deliveries of edible roses, and from the same Japan around the world “scatter”
