Where and how to create makeup and hair on December 31st

– Before the New Year, there are two whole reasons to dress up and create an image that does not fit into everyday life. I really love head accessories and in advance came up with a festive look, there is little left to do – to embody it!

Expectations: I often do my own makeup and hair for important events, but it’s so nice to be in the hands of a master and enjoy the process.

I have known the Fen Dry Bar for many years, and so far they have never disappointed me. I wanted to create a bright look with black eyes covered with sparkles. There were no clear ideas about the hairstyle – something with curls, gathered in a bun and decorated with my pre-selected accessory.

Reality: in the salon there are two options for creating an image: in two hands and in four at the same time. I chose the first option, because there was nowhere to rush, and I wanted to relax myself and get aesthetic pleasure (sometimes four hands have to choose not the most comfortable poses, and with all the skill, it is not very convenient for specialists).

The hairstyle was chosen under the headband – gathered hair. Washing, combing, creating curls, collecting hair and installing headbands (there were two) on the hair took only an hour. Stylist Victoria understood from the first words what I wanted and quickly conjured up an image. I have witnessed more than once how such hairstyles were done for one and a half to two hours, so this is a very important point!

Since this year the most fashionable trend is sequins, I could not resist and deny myself sparkling eyes. Makeup artist Diana looked at the example in the photo at a glance and began to create the tone. By the way, I really like to consider the makeup artist’s cosmetic bag and for me the quality indicator is when there are products of different brands, the cost of which can vary from 300 to 3000 rubles… After all, we all know perfectly well that the price is NOT equal to the quality.

The makeup turned out exactly as I wanted. Smooth and beautiful tone, bright eyes and nude lips. By the way, a tip: I always think in advance which lipstick is suitable for makeup, and I take my own means, because no matter how beautiful lips the makeup artist draws, they will disappear in a day, and there will be nothing to tint.

Hair and make-up survived for 12 hours and, I think, could have “stood” as much!

Rating: 10 of 10 points. They created the perfect image for me, which coincided with my desires. By the way, the salon is open on the 31st until 19:00.

– I am a conservative and even on special occasions I prefer classic makeup. I never bother with my hair at all: once, at a friend’s wedding, I wrapped bundles of panties on my hair before going to bed, and in the morning I dismissed them and got perky curls. However, after a visit to the Tsveti beauty bar, I completely changed my attitude to the “marathon” – naturally, in a good direction.

Expectations: when preparing for a New Year’s corporate party, girls usually think over their images to the smallest detail and always know exactly what they want. I was not very clear about the image as a whole. I wanted braiding and bright eyes, something like Kristen Stewart at the Cannes Film Festival – my requirements were very modest. However, the masters of “Tsveti” managed to literally create a miracle out of nothing.

Reality: Elena Fedorova was responsible for the hair, and Anna Tokareva was responsible for the makeup. I write their names for a reason: they are just an amazing team that literally in an hour and a half turned a tired 30-year-old woman into a red carpet star! Lena created volume and made a careless complex styling with weaving elements, and Anya applied the perfect tone and emphasized the eyes with the help of brown-pink smoky eyes. Light sculpting, flawless wide eyebrows and deep gaze – I just didn’t recognize myself in the mirror. At the same time, the main goal of “Tsveti” is to create the most natural image, minimalist and slightly careless. This concept is very close to me, so I think I was incredibly lucky to test the services of this particular salon.

Both makeup and styling lasted seven hours, but I think if I had stayed at the corporate party longer, the efforts of the stylists would not have been in vain.

Rating: 10 out of 10. I am completely satisfied with the result and will definitely come to Tsveti again and again.

– A trip to a beauty salon is always a holiday for me! I myself do not know how to conjure over my head, I will be able to wind up curls as much as possible, but as for the beautiful high hairstyles that go crazy for me – a complete failure! Therefore, I try to be as sophisticated as I can, coming up with a task for the master. The same goes for makeup.

Expectations: I tried to choose a hairstyle and makeup so that everything went well with the dress. It is tight-fitting, lace, beige. Such an outfit definitely needed a high hairstyle and a bright accent on the eyes. Ideally, in my opinion, smoky eyes would look.

Reality: I imagined what the hairstyle would look like even before the master started working. I had a very similar option at my wedding. Only then did I specially extend my hair so that there was a luxurious head of hair in the back. But this time we solved this problem, the roller helped. This is just a wonderful invention of mankind! The whole evening I did not feel the innumerable number of hairpins in my head, it seemed that the hairstyle was simply weightless. It is very convenient and practical. The hairstyle itself was excellent, I felt like a bride again. She lasted all day and all evening. It seemed that she would survive the night and the next day! The makeup was very beautiful, exactly what I wanted to see in the end. While I may have opted for a too dark shade of eyeshadow, it may be worth asking the makeup artist to use dark brown and beige. But even so, everything looked beautiful and harmonious.

Evaluation: Sharmi is a cozy salon conveniently located in the center of Moscow. I liked the friendly staff, and most importantly – the professionalism of the girls! For creating a dream image, I give a rating of 10 out of 10.

– A rare case – I knew exactly what I wanted. Since we usually celebrate a New Year’s corporate party on a weekday, the gathering has always been symbolic: you add material with one hand, paint your eyes with the other. That’s enough, I decided that I want to be beautiful. I chose the grunge style for the party, so the hairstyle and makeup had to match – a little aggressive. It seems to me that everything worked out for us with the masters of the Daviani salon.

Expectations: perfect tone and bright makeup. Well, yes, surprise me!

Reality: my makeup artist also opted for smoky, but suggested making the color saturated. I agreed to everything. So, in order for the makeup to last half a day and the whole evening, Amir applied three layers of shadows to me – dark gray, blue and black, it turned out to be a gorgeous blue-black shade. I added light and a little glitter to the inner corners. And the inner eyelid was shaded with a black persistent pencil. To make my look even deeper, Amir added fluffiness to my lashes with false tufts. Voila! I am ready to kill oncoming handsome men with a glance. But that was not all.

Bright makeup needs the perfect tone. Otherwise, you risk becoming not a vamp woman, but a cabaret participant. Amir applied the base, tone, and then proceeded to sculpting. To prevent my narrow face from getting lost against the background of my hairstyle and outfit, he applied a dark sculptor to me not from the corner of the lips to the cheekbones, but with horizontal strokes. Brush along the hairline, under the chin, above the lip. And then he conjured with the wings of the nose – and I became the owner of the Greek forms!

The final touch is a dry highlighter just above the cheekbones for a glowing skin effect. And I really have a perfect face!

We finished the look with bright lipstick. Amir slightly enlarged my lips with a pencil, applied creamy lipstick (my lips were a little chapped, so any matte or dry textures would only accentuate all the irregularities) – and I felt like a million.

Hair: the hair master conjured in parallel. We have chosen the favorite styling of Scarlett Johansson and Elena Podkaminskaya: high pile and smooth hair. In principle, with a certain tenacity, you can repeat this hairstyle at home. You need to wash your hair, apply a styling product and dry it with your head down. Then, from the middle of the head to the forehead, start combing the strands. Do not overdo it, you will still need your hair: gently comb the strand to the roots, sprinkle with varnish, take the next one. When the volume is ready, use a comb to shape your bouffant and secure the strands in the back with invisible ones. In general, that’s all!

Evaluation: professionals work in the salon. Even if you don’t know what you want, they will help you come up with or refine the image. I felt very comfortable! Plus a pleasant atmosphere and music – two hours of complete relaxation! 10 of 10!

– On the eve of the holidays, I usually feel like a shoemaker without boots. Every day we write about fashionable hairstyles and make-up, but at the right time there is simply not enough time for ourselves. This year (I solemnly promise myself!) Will be an exception. The dress is purchased and the hair and makeup are selected in advance. The specialists of “Manikuroff” helped me in creating the image. The chain positions itself as manicure and nail extension salons, but they also do haircuts, hairstyles and professional makeup.

Expectations: A velvet robe embroidered with silver sequins was visited in the closet. In order not to look “rich”, this time I decide to give up sparkles and my favorite smoky eyes and choose a makeup a la Hollywood. I want black arrows and red lips to shine like a star on the red carpet.

Reality: make-up artist Anna Filimonova carefully examines the face and … disappointment. You can hardly argue with a specialist here: I have slightly drooping eyelids, which means that traditional arrows will have to be abandoned. We apply a tone to the eyes, and then shadows, visually making my eyes larger. We still draw the arrows, but small and neat – to make the look more expressive. Following the eyes, apply the base to the rest of the face. Concealer for eyes, tone for shine. We do face contouring with a dry concealer, then a highlighter for freshness. With the wave of a magic wand, I get eyebrows that I just love. I have never been able to draw such on my own (!) We complete the makeup with a lip pencil and wine-colored lipstick. We fix the makeup with a special composition, look in the mirror … In general, I am very pleased with the result. I love the eyes and eyebrows, the skin tone is absolute perfection. Confused only by the choice of lipstick color. Perhaps it just seems to me that the hate adds age to me … Colleagues, however, do not agree with me. Maybe I’m just not used to the new look.

It just so happened that we had very little time left for our hair – at most 30 minutes. Wash your hair, dry it, shape short hair in the Hollywood style … For my taste, stylist Alina Keian showed aerobatics here. To make light curls that would last all evening, in 15 minutes remaining – well, just aerobatics.

Rating: 9 out of 10 points for makeup – taking off a point for my doubts about lipstick and 10 out of 10 for my hair. With the available starting materials – the maximum possible. And I also liked how carefully Alina treats her clients. This is very important, because we also go to the salon for emotions.
