When to exercise The best time to train

When to exercise This question is asked by many amateurs of systematic physical activity. Is there a time of day when it’s best to do my workouts?

Fast food menu. How much salt, sugar and calories does it really have?

Why do muscles ache after training?

Virtually every systematically exercising person strives to ensure that the trainings performed by them are as effective as possible. Hence, physically active people are looking for more and more new solutions. One of them is to select the time of day when the exercises performed are most effective. Does the time of day really affect the effectiveness of training sessions carried out at that time?

Does the time of day matter?

Definitely yes. This is due to the fact that many factors that determine the effectiveness of exercise, for example the concentration of certain hormones, reach optimal parameters at a specific time of the day. Hence, the time of day devoted to training is so important. However, it should be remembered that it is much better to exercise at a non-optimal time of the day than not to exercise at all. So what’s the best time to train?

Regularity will help

The ability of the human body to adapt to changing conditions comes to our aid. It is enough that the trainings will be performed systematically at the same time of the day. This will allow the body to change the time of its greatest physical activity. However, for this to happen, regularity and a constant time of training are extremely important.

Do you exercise on an empty stomach?

Never exercise on an empty stomach! This is not only ineffective but also dangerous to your health. Before starting exercise, you should eat at least a small meal. This will prevent a significant increase in catabolic processes (“eating” your body) during training. It is equally important to maintain adequate time between a meal and the beginning of exercise. It largely depends on the amount of food consumed (the size of the pre-training meal). However, it is worth remembering that a certain minimum time should be observed, after which you can only start training. It is assumed to be a minimum of two hours. During this time, the body will digest the meal and absorb the nutrients necessary for its proper functioning.

Do you train before going to bed?

Considering the fact that not everyone has the opportunity to exercise in the morning or during the day, very often there is a situation where training is carried out late in the evening. Is this the correct procedure? Yes and no. Much depends on what time we go to bed. Why is it so important? Well, remember that after each training session, preferably within 30-45 minutes after its completion, you should eat a meal. Therefore, if we train immediately before going to bed and eat a meal after it, we will go to bed with a full stomach, which is definitely not advisable during the weight reduction process. It is also worth mentioning that completing training immediately before going to sleep may make it difficult to fall asleep. This is because exercise stimulates the body.
