Too drastic weight loss
Rapid weight loss is one of the most common mistakes newbies lose weight. The fact is that, by nature, our body strives for balance and maintaining its usual state (this process even has a scientific name – homeostasis). If the temperature rises, the body starts the processes of thermoregulation, vasospasm occurs – regulates the pressure, and so on.
The same scheme works for weight loss. The longer the body “wore” extra pounds on itself, the more familiar they become for it. Many of those who have at least once tried to lose weight dramatically know that often it not only comes back, but can even increase. This organism, alarmed by abrupt changes, seeks not only to restore its original state, but also to provide itself with a reserve in case of future surprises.
In order to avoid this scenario, it is very important to lose weight slowly and gradually. You should not go on radical diets, sharply cut the diet from 2500 to 1500 kcal, and even more so practice “curative” fasting. Instead, you need to adhere to the principles of good nutrition (ideally, choose your diet with the help of a specialist) and gradually reduce the calorie content of each meal. Nutritionists advise at each stage to cut no more than 200-300 kcal per day and adhere to this volume until the desired result is fixed.
Irregular bowel movements
It is quite simple to get around this trap of the body: you need to pull yourself together in time and, at the same time as starting to lose weight, shake off the dust from a fitness club membership or persuade friends to work out together on open sports grounds. It is better to give preference to power loads (it is highly desirable to conduct the first classes under the supervision of a professional) and cardio.
Attempts to lose weight with unbalanced diets or severe food restrictions can lead to various discomfort in the gastrointestinal tract: irregular bowel movements, difficulties with peristalsis, difficulties with the removal of processed food from the body … This not only complicates the process of losing weight, but can also lead to a deterioration in skin tone, a general feeling of heaviness and even psychological discomfort.
This can be avoided if you lose weight wisely and gradually, without limiting yourself in everything, but by including a large amount of fiber-rich foods in the diet: fruits, vegetables and, of course, cereals. In addition, you need to drink enough water. As an additional aid to the gastrointestinal tract, you can take special natural nutritional supplements that promote natural and comfortable intestinal motility.
