You can store beets in the cellar. This is easy to do, the main thing is to provide the necessary conditions and storage location:

  • The temperature in the basement should be around 0 degrees.
  • The room must be well ventilated.
  • Beets need to be provided with high humidity.
  • Can be stored in conventional drawers with ventilation holes.
  • You can also use ash or sand for this. To do this, put the beets in a box and cover with sand or ash.
