It is important that Uteusha spinach, unlike ordinary spinach, does not contain oxalic acid and can be eaten at any age and in any quantity.

Sow a plant in a sunny area in the fall, and from mid-April for 10-15 years you can feast on vitamin greens. You can postpone planting until spring, but then it will be possible to cut useful leaves only next season.

Each type of culture has a special taste and aroma, so it is worth creating a clearing: plant lemon mint (lemon balm), peppermint, water, field, chocolate, cat, garden mint. Do not limit yourself to adding herbs to tea, it goes well in compotes, fruit drinks, jam, as a seasoning for meat and beans. For the winter, mint is dried and frozen.

Mint is propagated by roots, cuttings and seeds. It is better to fence off the bed with a curb tape, since the plant can quickly creep over the site.

The stems of this giant are distinguished by a unique taste with sourness. They are used to prepare jelly, compotes, preserves, and filling for pies. The color of the petioles can be red or green, depending on the variety. Rhubarb is cut into pieces and frozen for the winter.

Rhubarb grows in one place for about 10 years and reproduces well both by rhizomes and seeds. When grown from seeds, the crop will be obtained only in the second year.

Thyme (thyme) is a low perennial plant with fragrant flowers and leaves. Feels good in sunny areas, forming a flowering pillow, this will decorate any flower bed. Thyme is dried for the winter (harvest time is July and August) and added to tea. The drink is very useful for depression and insomnia. For the winter, the bushes must be covered to protect them from freezing.

It is easier to buy seedlings in pots and transfer them to the site. This can be done in the summer as well.

Surely everyone on the site has perennial sorrel. Remember: it is better to use only young leaves for food and harvest for the winter, they contain mainly useful malic and citric acids. But in old leaves, harmful oxalic acid accumulates.
