Authors: Valerie Thomas, Corky Paul
Price: from 139 rubles.
There is nothing better than being yourself! You can fight your shortcomings all your life, or you can turn on healthy self-irony and start enjoying every day you live. This philosophy with all her behavior and appearance is declared by the witch Vinnie. She often walks around her castle in holey socks, forgets to clean and does not like to cook. Her experiments with a magic wand end with unpredictable consequences. But hardly in the whole district you can find someone more creative, good-natured and inquisitive than Winnie!
Books about the witch Vinnie and her cat Vilbura have been popular in Europe for over 30 years, but they have only reached Russian-speaking readers now. The bold organization of the space adds an element of free play to the book: somewhere the drawing takes up a full spread, somewhere the pages are divided in the manner of a comic book, and in some cases the book will have to be turned in your hands, switching from horizontal to vertical format. Down with frames! Freedom to creative expression!
