Only every second Pole is satisfied with his sex life – according to the report “Sexuality of Poles 2020”, annual research carried out by prof. Zbigniew Izdebski (source: “Sexuality after the pandemic” /twojpsycholog.pl). Judging by the growing number of advertisements for drugs supporting male potency and the wave of women seeking help on the web – we need support in the bedroomto stoke the fire, regain vigor and interest in sex. Indisputably, when the problem is serious, help should be sought in a specialist doctor’s office. And what if we just want to add a little mole to our lives and reach for support, not necessarily from the pharmacy?
Greek goddess
The most popular myth about her origin is that she emerged from the sea foam while standing in an open shell in which she would later swim. Aphrodite – Greek goddess of love, beauty, flowers, lust and fertility. The most beautiful goddess of Greek mythology. It is from her name that the word aphrodisiac comes from, i.e. a food product, but also a fragrance that affects our senses and stimulates sexual energy and desire.
What is the power of natural aphrodisiacs that humanity has been using for centuries? The secret is the composition, and more precisely the content of minerals and vitamins, which have a positive effect on our body and its functions. Although we are of the opinion that some of these delicacies stimulate our senses on many levels and work not necessarily only due to the composition.
You can read about the composition of the first love potions and what, apart from the composition, counts in natural aphrodisiacs here: https://.pl/afrodyzjaki-w-kuchni-czesc-pierwsza.
Exciting like … chicken soup?
In search of natural stimulation of our senses, we do not have to go on distant, exotic journeys. A few steps towards your own kitchen are enough to find natural aphrodisiacs. They don’t have to be expensive or difficult to access. At first, something exceptionally prosaic, already known to our grandmothers and with a relatively suggestive name – lovage.
The spice gives the broth a unique flavor, its counterpart in the store is the popular maggi. It owes its name to the fact that it used to be the basic ingredient of love potions. Lovage leaves were also woven into wedding wreaths or the bride’s hair, which was to bring the young people a good marriage. The herb, thanks to its properties, and more precisely essential oils (acetic acid and valeric acid), resins and coumarin, increases libido in both women and men, expanding blood vessels.
Celery for a stronger experience
Coming back to the broth, lovage is not the only ingredient that we should use to light a fire in the bedroom. Celery! Not only in soup, and perhaps above all not in soup, it is a secret weapon that cannot be overestimated. Celery is full of arginine and is known as a natural potency drug.
Arginine is an amino acid that influences the relaxation of blood vessels, in the body converted into nitric oxide, which improves blood flow and thus ensures an extremely intense sexual experience for both women and men. Interestingly, it is arginine that is one of the basic ingredients of drugs supporting potency in men.
What other aphrodisiacs swim in the broth and how to start a fire in the bedroom without leaving the kitchen, you can read in the second part of our considerations: https: //.pl/afrodyzjaki-w-kuchni-czesc-druga.
Seafood
Since the goddess of love emerged from the sea, this is where you should look for bed boosters. The legendary Casanova could not be wrong either. According to some sources, he ate 50 oysters a day, others say that it was only the breakfast of the world’s most famous lover. So what is this delicacy in?
Zinc! The deficiency of this element is indicated as one of the causes of male impotence. Its appropriate level is also important for the sexuality and health of women (apart from its beneficial influence on libido, it also influences the regularity of the menstrual cycle). Oysters also contain vitamin E, which increases fertility and libido in both sexes.
Be careful with the nutmeg
Again, in search of natural aphrodisiacs, we return to the kitchen spice drawer. Nutmeg, an aromatic spice with a characteristic flavor, full of essential oils that dilate blood vessels and make our blood circulate faster. What more is needed?
Myristicin, which this popular spice contains, is a component of methylenedioxymethamphetamine – an antidepressant, stimulating and euphoric drug. In pursuit of ecstatic bedroom experiences, however, it’s best not to overdo it with nutmeg. Overdosing, instead of increasing the sexual experience, it can cause hallucinations.
Sex and the city and asparagus
Do you remember how Samantha from “Sex and the City”, in the second part of the film, enjoyed hummus in all its forms and flavors, because on the way to the United Arab Emirates airport security confiscated her medications to alleviate the symptoms of menopause? One of the four main characters of the cult series, known for her huge appetite for sex, was a live advertisement for phytoestrogens. These are substances contained in plants, similar to the secreted female sex hormones, and thus positively influencing the female hormonal balance.
Samantha definitely did not need aphrodisiacs, her libido could be shared by a few more women. However, if it were otherwise, then hummus could easily be eaten interchangeably with asparagus, also full of phytoestrogens, and thus increasing the appetite for sex in women. You can also find phytoestrogens in soybeans and products made from it.
Prescription chocolate
Who knows the theory that chocolate is a salad? It is scientifically proven that since chocolate is made of cocoa and cocoa is a plant, chocolate is a salad! Thus, even while on a diet, you cannot deny yourself chocolate. It turns out, however, that chocolate should not only be an ingredient of every slimming diet. Well, it should be sold at a pharmacy and recommended to anyone looking for an obvious and natural way to improve their sex life!
Chocolate contains at least a few ingredients responsible for its sensual properties, but the most important of them is PEA, i.e. phenylethylamine. PEA has an effect comparable to the highly addictive amphetamine, which is responsible for excitement and desire. Its tasks include stimulating the secretion of the hormones of happiness – endorphins, as well as enhancing the action of dopamine responsible for the feeling of pleasure from sex.
The bee is really working
It sounds terrible, but apparently it works … This aphrodisiac is known to a wider audience under the name of the Spanish fly. In the past, the Spanish fly was actually obtained only from green beetles, today the preparation with this name is actually based on an insect, but it also contains a number of other supporting substances.
The aphrodisiac works on both women and men, enhancing sexual sensations thanks to cantaridin, a substance obtained from the beetle. This stimulates the nerve endings in the intimate zones, thanks to which the excitement grows faster and more effectively. The substance also irritates the mucous membranes, which in women results in better moisturizing of intimate parts.
Regarding the Spanish fly, however, you can find a lot of information about the side effects of its use, such as inflammation of the urinary tract and gastrointestinal tract, and painful erections. It will therefore be much safer to use better recognized aphrodisiacs, which are part of our daily menu – such as vegetables, herbs, fruit and chocolate 🙂
