Well-known blogger and guide Tatyana May
Her post quickly attracted the attention of users languishing from high temperatures. In the comments, more than 200 people shared their favorite drink recipes that help them survive the heat and stuffiness! We have selected the most interesting of them.
To get started, subscribers suggested some new smoothie ideas:
- Banana, frozen berries and oat milk;
- Milk and mango;
- Watermelon, berries, ice and mint;
- Strawberries with beaten egg whites.
“Frozen banana, water, lemon juice in a blender – also the nectar of the gods. This is for those who do not drink milk. It can be thicker, like ice cream, it can be thinner, like a cocktail, ”they share life hacks in the comments.
Homemade lemonade was the second most popular cold drink of choice. Commentators have listed several variations of its preparation:
- Mineral water, any juice, fruit drink or even homemade compote;
- Raspberry, mint and soda.
Many users have also suggested using frozen berries instead of ice.
One of the commentators wrote a recipe for a pomegranate juice drink with green tea. The ingredients must be mixed in a decanter in a ratio of 1: 1 and put in the refrigerator.
Pomegranate juice can be replaced with apple-blackcurrant, and green tea – for example, hibiscus. “It turns out an incredibly tasty drink! Try it, you won’t regret it!” she promises. And we believe her!
Another subscriber recommended trying ice coffee with orange juice. “In a glass, put a few ice cubes, orange or grapefruit juice (fresh or from a bottle, preferably with pulp), and pour a shot of espresso on top. Very invigorating,” she said.
Another summer drink with coffee is an espresso tonic. “Coffee with tonic and ice. But it’s a “drug”! – warn “experts” in the comments.
Another recipe for a cooling drink can replace a full meal. When it’s hot, you don’t feel like eating, but this wonderful drink will add strength and quench your thirst: “Half a bunch of dill and parsley, cucumber, a glass of kefir, beat everything in a blender, add salt and spices to taste. Instead of kefir, you can use matsoni or low-fat yogurt without additives. Just a refreshing high, hearty and vitamins (you can’t just eat a bunch of dill)!”
You can also add mint, walnuts, sorrel and cilantro to the drink.
What else can those who don’t particularly like sugary drinks do?
“Kefir in half with tomato juice. You can salt. It turns out as if you ate a tomato salad with sour cream and a delicious gravy remained at the bottom. And there’s a lot of it!” Sounds like a dream!
The collection of recipes continues to grow, so prepare a blender, ice and, of course, beautiful glasses. Summer promises to be hot – it is in our power to make it as tasty as possible.
