What to do to prevent fish from sticking to the grill

Every fish lover, when going to a picnic, imagines a beautiful grilled fish steak or small fish. We go to the store, buy beautiful pieces of fish or freshly caught fish, rub them with spices and herbs, add vegetables, prepare sauces.

But when it comes to grilling, we put the fish on the wire rack and – oh, horror! The fish stuck to the wire rack and there is no longer that appetizing piece or the type of fish has completely ceased to be presentable.

Of course, you can get out of the situation and cook fish in foil, but we will show you a few life hacks to avoid fish sticking to the wire rack.

1 method

When grilling fish, it emits a lot of sticky juice, which is why it sticks to the wire rack. Therefore, after you gut and wash the fish, rub it with salt, the salt will absorb this liquid, and before frying, wash the salt, dry it with paper towels and rub the fish with spices.

2 method

To prevent the fish prepared for frying from sticking to the grate, you do not need to grease the grate itself with oil, grease the fish skin with oil.
