What to do if your heel is cracked and it hurts: folk remedies
The question of what to do if the heel is cracked is relevant for people of any age and gender. This problem is quite common. First, small cracks form on the soles of the feet, which can then grow into deeper ones.
The reasons can be the following:
- Incorrectly fitted shoes. In summer and spring, some people wear shoes that do not fix the heel at the back. Flip flops and slates knock on the soles of the feet when walking, thereby damaging it
- Synthetic socks and knee-highs. The skin of the legs in such products does not breathe well, while the blood circulation process is disturbed. Therefore, the skin dries up and cracks.
- Avitaminosis. Sometimes the reason for the appearance of cracks in the legs is a lack of vitamins or metabolic disorders in the body.
- Age over 40. After 40 years, the skin does not receive sufficient nutrition and becomes dry
- Disorders in the work of the endocrine system and in the digestive organs, as well as skin diseases
- Insufficient foot care

– If you notice that you have a crack in the heel, the first thing to do is rinse it and apply a nourishing cream or oil. It is important that the product you apply to your skin does not contain coconut oil, as it dries out.
It is not worth doing any more actions on your own, so as not to aggravate the problem and not “saw through” the skin. In the salon, a specialist will very carefully process the crack, after which he will apply the most nourishing cream.
After a visit to the salon, every day at home at night, it is necessary to apply a nourishing cream to the heels in order to further tighten the crack and restore the skin.
After that, it is recommended to come to the salon after 2 weeks and do an express pedicure in order to once again process the heel and remove the stratum corneum for faster recovery.
