Bones from a bra, keys, rings and other foreign objects often get into the opening of the heating element. It is enough for a small element to rest against the heating element, as the drum will scroll and push the part through the tank wall. All this happens quickly and under pressure, so the same ring can easily break through the plastic.
If the tank is broken, no glue will help hold its parts together, don’t even hope. But still, even the repair of the non-separable tank “Indesit” and “Ariston” can really be done with your own hands. To do this, disassemble the washer, saw two parts of the tank. For collapsible halves, it is enough to unscrew the screws around the perimeter. Take out the drum and cross.
Attach the fragment that has flown away to its original place.
Fasten the parts with a soldering iron.
If you haven’t found all the fragments, then cut off a piece from the plastic casing.
The area is whole again.
Also go through the inside seams with a soldering iron.
But this is not enough for normal operation. Strong vibration and high temperature preclude the use of glue. And the soldered particles additionally need to be fixed with reinforcement. Lay the wire and also attach it with a soldering iron.
Gradually cover the entire seam with wire, and remove excess parts with wire cutters.
Once the entire surface is covered, process it with a soldering iron.
