A democratic product – chicken wings – is very fond of all age categories of the population. Small mouth-watering chunks of chicken, juicy or crispy, will appeal to both for dinner on weekdays and as the main course of a Sunday family lunch in the fresh air. The beauty of the wings is that they cannot be eaten with a fork and knife, so everyone enjoys eating chicken wings, holding them in their hands and not being afraid to ruin their reputation.
What to cook from chicken wings is asked by everyone who is going to buy this product. Our advice is that whatever you decide to cook from chicken wings, increase the originally planned number of fresh wings by at least one and a half times (preferably two). Buy more of them, because the wings are like seeds, there is no way to stop. We will present several recipes, both for every day and for a festive table.
Chicken wings in orange glaze
Ingredients:
- Chicken wings – 12 pcs.
- Orange jam – 3 tbsp l.
- Soy Sauce – 1 Art. l
- Sesame – 3 tbsp l.
- Olive oil – 1 tsp
- Sesame oil – 1 tsp
- Ground coriander – 1 tsp
- Chili pepper – optional
- Salt – to taste.
Rinse the wings, dry with a paper towel, cut into pieces along the articular cartilage, remove the last phalanx if desired. Mix all ingredients except sesame seeds and wings. Coat the wings with the mixture, roll in sesame seeds and place on a greased baking sheet. Cook in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes, depending on the size of the wings.
Chicken wings in beer batter
Ingredients:
- Chicken wings – 1 kg.
- Sunflower oil – for frying
- Egg – 3 pcs.
- Beer – 200 gr.
- Wheat flour – 7 tbsp. l.
- Salt, ground black pepper – to taste.
Rinse the wings, dry with a paper towel and cut into portions, sprinkle with salt. Beat eggs lightly, add beer, flour, pepper and salt, stir gently until the lumps disappear. Heat oil in a deep frying pan, dip each piece of wings in batter and fry until golden brown, turning gently.
Chicken wings kebab
Ingredients:
- Chicken wings – 1,5 kg.
- Beer – 200 gr.
- Soy Sauce – 2 Art. l
- Dried garlic – 1 tsp
- Curry – 2 tsp
- Seasoning for chicken – 1 tbsp. l.
Rinse the wings, if feathers remain, remove with tweezers. Put whole wings in an enamel or glass bowl, add spices and seasoning, pour in beer and soy sauce, mix well, cover and refrigerate for several hours, preferably overnight. String the wings on the skewers in one order so that the thick spots are on one side and the thin spots are on the other. If a lattice is used, the wings should be laid on it according to the same principle, without pushing them too close to each other. It is necessary to start frying with the most “meat” part of the wings, turning over as it cooks. Depending on the amount of charcoal, the wings will cook for 15-25 minutes.
Spicy chicken wings
Ingredients:
- Chicken wings – 1 kg.
- Garlic – 2 teeth
- Egg – 2 pcs.
- Wheat flour – 5 tbsp. l.
- Sunflower oil – 8-10 tbsp. l.
- Vinegar – 1 tsp
- Corn flakes – 1/2 tbsp.
- Ground chili pepper – 2 tsp
- Salt – to taste.
Rinse the wings, dry, remove the last phalanx and cut into two parts. Place in a bowl, add salt, chopped garlic and chili, pour in vinegar and mix well. Leave for a couple of hours in a cool place. Slightly heat the cornflakes without sugar until large crumbs are formed, whisk the eggs with a whisk, sift the flour onto a plate. Roll each piece of wings in flour, then dip in the egg mixture and breaded in flakes. Fry in a hot skillet for 2 minutes on each side. If desired, place on a paper towel after frying.
Dishes for the festive table are thought out long before the cherished date. But sometimes you have to quickly change plans or the holidays happen “unplanned”. You should not deny yourself the pleasure, it is better to remember that you can cook an excellent festive dish from chicken wings. Incredibly tasty, spectacular looking and does not require large financial and time expenditures.
Chicken wings with potatoes
Ingredients:
- Chicken wings – 1 kg.
- Potatoes – 0,8 kg.
- Garlic – 2 teeth
- Honey – 1 tbsp. l.
- Mustard – 2 tbsp. l.
- Soy Sauce – 2 Art. l
- Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp. l.
- Sunflower oil – 1 tbsp. l.
- Hops-suneli – 1 tbsp.
Rinse the wings, dry slightly. Mix all the liquid ingredients, chopped garlic and seasoning, stir the sauce with the wings and marinate in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Rinse the potatoes thoroughly with a brush, without peeling, cut into slices or halves, if they are small. Put the wings in a greased baking dish and potatoes on top of them, cook in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25-35 minutes.
