In the age of complete automation of all kitchen processes, there is a juicer in almost every kitchen.
Trying to eat healthy and varied, housewives often prepare fresh juices. If the family is large and the year was fruitful for apples, a natural question arises – how to use waste, what can be prepared from apple cake.
After making apple juice, there is always cake. These residues contain a large amount of fiber necessary for digestion and retain the apple flavor and aroma.
In fact, apple pomace, which retains all the beneficial properties of apples, is added to many dishes, any baked goods with it will become fragrant and friable, and will not stale for a long time.
The only prerequisite for use is to remove the bones and tails from the apples before preparing the juice.
Consider several options for easy-to-serve dishes.
Apple cake cheesecakes
Ingredients:
- Apple cake – 1 glass
- Boiled rice – 300 gr.
- Banana – 1 pcs.
- Egg – 2 pcs.
- Raisins – 50 gr.
- Manka – 7 st. l.
- Sugar – 4 st. l.
- Vanilla sugar – 1/2 tsp
- Sunflower oil – for frying
- Salt is on the tip of the knife.
- Oatmeal – for rolling
Mix rice with cake, add banana, egg, sugar and salt. Stir and add 5 tablespoons of semolina, knead well and set aside for 8-10 minutes for the semolina to swell. Add raisins. Form curd cakes, roll in semolina and fry over medium heat until tender.
Apple cake pie
Ingredients:
- Apple cake – 1 glass
- Egg – 3 pcs.
- Lemon zest – 1 tbsp l.
- Sugar – 1/2 cup
- Wheat flour – 1,5 cups
- Dough leavener – 1 tsp.
- Ground cinnamon – 1/2 tsp
- Salt is on the tip of the knife.
Separate the yolks, grind with sugar until white. Add apple cake, cinnamon and lemon zest, mix gently. Sift flour with baking powder on top, mix. Beat the whites with salt into a strong foam, mix gently with the dough. Place the dough in a baking dish lined with baking paper. Cook in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 40-45 minutes, sprinkle with powdered sugar when serving.
Apple Pomace Gingerbread Cupcakes
Ingredients:
- Apple cake – 1 glass
- Egg – 2 pcs.
- Sugar – 1/2 cup
- Vanilla sugar – 1/2 tsp
- Wheat flour – 1 glass
- Semolina – 1/2 cup
- Margarine – 100 g.
- Sour cream – 2 Art. l
- Sunflower oil – for lubricating molds
- Raisins – 1/2 cup
- Ginger (root) – 3 cm
- Dough leavener – 1 tsp.
Rinse the raisins, pour boiling water for 5 minutes, drain the water, dry the raisins. Beat eggs with sugar, add melted and cooled margarine and sour cream, mix. Add apple pomace, raisins and grated ginger root. Sift flour with baking powder on top, add semolina and vanilla sugar, mix well. Grease the molds with oil (if silicone ones are used, you can not grease them), fill 2/3 with dough and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
Apple cake and carrot pancakes
Ingredients:
- Sour cream – 250 gr.
- Egg – 2 pcs.
- Apple cake – 1 glass
- Carrots – 1 pieces.
- Sugar – 2 st. l.
- Wheat flour – 100 gr.
- Soda – 1/2 tsp.
- Vinegar – 1 tsp
- Sunflower oil – for frying
- Salt is on the tip of the knife.
Mix eggs and sour cream, add sugar, salt and soda (extinguish with vinegar), sift flour and mix well. Peel the carrots and grate on a fine grater, add to the dough with the cake. Put on a preheated frying pan with a tablespoon, fry for 3-4 minutes on each side. Serve hot with sour cream, honey or jam.
