There are certain rules on how to properly serve and drink sparkling wine. We invite you to study them.

  1. Champagne should be served in flute glasses, because their shape affects the process of releasing the drink from gas bubbles.

  2. There is no need to fill the glass entirely. Wine glasses are usually filled to two-thirds of the volume.

  3. Before serving, sparkling wine is cooled to a temperature of 6–8 ° C.

For this, a freezer is not used, because after it the drink may lose its taste and aroma.

The bottle must be placed in a special bucket filled with a mixture of water and ice.

Water is a must to avoid hypothermia of the champagne!

In a container, sparkling wine will cool to the desired temperature, if its current temperature is 20 ° C, within 1 hour.

  4. Champagne is also used as an aperitif – before meals, and during meals in the company of second courses and desserts.

The drink is never served:

  1. With chocolate that interrupts the taste and aroma of sparkling wine.

  2. Onions and garlic, which have a specific smell.

  3. Red meat (boiled pork, sausage, brisket).

  4. Oriental sweets with a sugary sweet taste, because after them the champagne will seem sour.

Champagne goes well with the following snacks:
