Jelly candy

Sugar and glucose-fructose syrup are the basis for the composition of jellies. But not only their presence is the reason why we should exclude this sweetness from the child’s diet. Jelly beans are also very often artificial dyes that can overload the immune system, and in larger amounts cause serious ailments. The most dangerous are quinonine yellow suspected of carcinogenic and allergenic effects and which may cause hyperactivity in children, as well as allergy and asthma, cochineal red.

Nut creams

They are called sugar-fat pulp for a reason. It is these two ingredients that constitute the vast majority of popular sweet spreads, unfortunately so much loved by children. The effect of sugar itself is not a surprise to anyone. Its excess is associated with diseases such as obesity, diabetes, cancer and caries. However, not everyone knows that the fat used in these products is palm oil, which contains harmful fatty acids that cause, among others, increase in bad cholesterol in the blood. What’s more, after refining, this oil is deprived of most of the valuable compounds, including vitamin E, vitamin A.

Stock cubes

Broth cube is nothing more than a conglomerate of salt, fat, flavor enhancers and other artificial additives. Its regular abuse increases the risk of hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, stomach and brain cancer, and impairs the functioning of the kidneys. There are still disturbing reports about monosodium glutamate contained in broth cubes that it may promote overweight and obesity, and lead to allergic reactions and asthma. Palm oil contained in the bar consists of harmful saturated fatty acids that cause, among others. an increase in bad cholesterol in the blood, and ammonia caramel causes hyperactivity, may cause liver and stomach diseases and fertility problems.

Sweet carbonated drinks

Sweet fizzy drinks are not only a huge amount of sugar and glucose-fructose syrup, the excess of which in the diet can lead to many diseases. Children should also avoid simply carbonated drinks due to their irritating effect on the digestive system. The dyes contained in such beverages are also harmful, for example E150d, i.e. sulphite ammonia caramel. This is because it can cause hyperactivity and increased intestinal activity, and contain toxic compounds that cause muscle cramps, changes in the blood picture and metabolic disorders of vitamin B6 in animals.

By drinking 5 glasses of one of the most popular carbonated drinks, we provide the child with 530 kcal and 25 teaspoons of sugar!
