What is the reason for the tears?

Proper nutrition

Our condition largely depends on what we eat. Lack of vitamins and minerals immediately affects health. Thus, persistent lacrimation can develop due to a lack of vitamin B2 (riboflavin) – an important component of two enzymes that help convert carbohydrates and fats into energy. If you are involved in sports or physical labor, then a large amount of riboflavin is consumed. With a lack of it, there is usually a dislike for light, and cracks appear in the corners of the mouth. Physical activity, the use of sleeping pills and diuretics, as well as strong tea and coffee can also cause potassium deficiency in the body. With its lack, the limbs begin to freeze, and the legs cramp.

What to do? Include milk, hard cheeses and eggs in the diet to compensate for the lack of vitamin B. As well as bananas, fresh cucumbers and beans to return potassium to the body.

Lenses

Perhaps you are wearing lenses that are not suitable for you by diopters – your eyes water at the same time due to constant muscle tension. And if tears flow in a stream with just one attempt put on lensesyou are probably one of the people with an overly sensitive cornea. Or simply opt for inexpensive, allergic vision correctors. Try not using your lenses for a while to find out the cause. If there is an improvement, they are the problem. If this is not the case, see an ophthalmologist and have your vision checked. Start using daily lenses rather than extended wear and pay attention to the lens cleaning solution you are using. Perhaps it is he who is the cause of your tears.

Cosmetics

Cosmetics quite often cause allergies, one of the symptoms of which may be tearing. If there is a suspicion that cosmetics makes you “cry”, carry out revision in the cosmetic bag and throw away any expired products. Also, skip makeup for a while. It is not necessary to do this in a cardinal way, you can gradually abandon one or the other means. As soon as you find the source of tears in your cosmetic bag, replace it with a similar product from another brand marked “hypoallergenic”.

During the experiment, rinse your eyes daily with tea or chamomile infusion.

Workplace

If you’re only tempted to cry at work, take a close look at the office. Perhaps it’s all about dry air. If, in addition to tears from the eyes, dryness in the nose is observed, it means that the body produces tear fluid in order to fight increased dry air… The problem may also lurk in the computer monitor. See if, after a while after sitting at the computer, your head starts to hurt and fatigue appears, it’s time to check the monitor settings or change it altogether.

Allergy

So you are incessantly cry, and then a runny nose began and itching appeared. Most likely, these are signs of conjunctivitis. Tears, in this case, help get rid of histamine, which is produced in the body in response to allergens. Conjunctivitis is characterized by reddened eyes from bursting small blood vessels, a feeling of sand under the eyelids, purulent discharge and a rise in temperature may appear. If you observe all these signs, seek advice and treatment from an ophthalmologist.
