You can cook many different dishes with shrimps and come up with successful combinations. It is only important to cook the shrimp correctly – and the matter is small!

In salads, shrimps are in harmony with fresh and boiled vegetables, fruits (citrus fruits, pineapple, avocado, pomegranate). They are combined with other seafood (squid, mussels, caviar, crab sticks). Also, fresh herbs, crackers, cheese are added to the salad with shrimps.

The combination of shrimp and vegetables allows you to get the most out of the ingredients. The best vegetable “friends” of seafood are fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, zucchini, Korean carrots, bell peppers, onions.

 

Fans of the original will appreciate the “tandem” of shrimp with Chinese muer mushrooms. They are successfully replaced with champignons.

Often shrimp is cooked on skewers, after holding them in a spicy marinade. For canapes with shrimps, cheese, lemon wedges, bacon, bell peppers, lightly salted salmon are perfect.

Shrimp can be served with a side dish, ideally with all types of rice. They are also good with vegetables with a mild taste: cauliflower, green peas, asparagus.

The taste of shrimp will be emphasized by various dressings and sauces, for example:

  • soy sauce;
  • lemon juice, peppers and herbs;
  • mayonnaise, cottage cheese and mustard;
  • a paste of olive and butter oils, garlic and ginger.
