This is the name of the thermoelectric system, which ensures the cessation of the supply of blue fuel in the event of an accidental extinction of the fire. Gas control cookers can be equipped with burners and / or an oven.
In addition to this system, other safety devices may be present in the stoves: a child protection function, the presence of double or triple heat-resistant glass in the doors.

The main advantage of a gas-controlled oven is the safety of equipment for the health and life of people around. On the other hand, such an oven also has disadvantages:
- Ignition does not occur immediately, as the thermocouple needs to be heated.
- If the gas control system breaks down, the burner in the oven will not function due to the closed valve.
- It is difficult to fix the security system on your own. It is easier to dismantle it.
- In the service center, the gas control is restored, as a rule, for a long time.
In addition, the system may have a defect, and then the oven will go out all the time.
How do I turn off the gas control of the oven? It is best to entrust such a responsible job to a gas equipment repairman. If you decide to turn off the system yourself, first of all, turn off the gas supply, then find the gas control. Using a wrench, unscrew the thermocouples and nut, take out the solenoid valve. You need to remove the spring from it. Then put the valve back in place, tighten the nut with a wrench. Wash the joints and turn on the gas. If bubbles appear, the nut must be tightened further.
