Imunoglukan is a dietary supplement in the form of an oral liquid or capsules, recommended for people who overload the immune system. The active ingredient of the preparation is the so-called beta (1,3 / 1,6) -D-glucan – a substance that stimulates the immune system. The product also contains vitamin C.
Imunoglukan passes unchanged up to the small intestine, where it reaches the immune cells in Peyer’s patches. When it binds to the receptors, the immune response in the body is activated.
Imunoglukan – indications for supplementation
Its use is recommended primarily to children in the period of increased load on the immune system, periodically in the prevention of seasonal influenza, in the case of recurrent respiratory infections and in the case of allergies.
Supplementation with the preparation is also recommended:
– people who have undergone chemotherapy and / or radiotherapy,
– after antibiotic therapy, in order to restore the body’s optimal immunity,
– in states of weakness and fatigue of the body.
Contraindications to taking Imunoglukan:
The preparation cannot be taken by people with transplanted organs, children under three years of age and people with hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product.
Imunoglukan – side effects
The manufacturer of the supplement does not mention any side effects caused by the proper intake of the preparation. Among the warnings for patients, there is only information about the possible reduction of psychophysical abilities while taking the preparation – which means that it is not recommended for people driving motor vehicles.
