While Europe was still closed, Israel began to lift restrictions, and the people of the country were slowly returning to normal.
The Delta variant, however, made Israel no longer a green island on a pandemic world map. There, a highly contagious mutation is responsible for the fourth wave, which is already clearly visible in diurnal numbers.
