Don’t be afraid of anything, lose weight and build a children’s hospice… When Nyuta Federmesser, the founder and president of the Vera Hospice Charitable Foundation, had free time, we suddenly found out what she was dreaming about.
“For the first time in many, many days, I didn’t have to get up at 7 in the morning. There was an opportunity to calmly, without panic, sit next to the children, talk with my husband … My beloved children know: my mother loves to sleep, silence, eat, flowers. Sleep always comes first. Sleep is always in the first place, alas … But if you suddenly manage to get enough sleep, then a lot of desires immediately wake up, enough for a hundred lives. I wish I could do at least 10% of everything I want …
1. Return to teaching (I was recently at the Russian State Humanitarian University, I adore students, I am ready to teach English, the ethics of communication in medicine, train volunteers, I can teach home economics and anything else, I really love students and children 13+).
2. Conduct a program about charity and various socially significant projects.
3. Lose 10 kg.
4. To build a children’s hospice in such a way that it would be the best hospice for children, like the First Moscow one for adults. But here my role is a hundred times smaller than the role of Lida Moniava. She is the soul of the hospice, and I am the rear.
5. To organize such a school for the training of nurses, which would form in society an idea of quality care for difficult patients, children and adults; a school that could supply its carers to families and hospices, charity homes and nursing homes.
6. Put things in order in the Vera Foundation so that everything works like clockwork, but Yulia Matveeva is already here, and I hope she can handle it.
7. To open a small family-run hotel, such that the manager knows what kind of sheets the visitor likes, what kind of scrambled eggs he should have for breakfast, so that he recognizes what mood the guest is even before he figured out his own feelings.
8. Don’t be afraid of anything.
9. Have time for family and children and not swear at them, but get high with them.
10 Live where there is more sun, but at the same time live here.
11 To ensure that if someone hurts, that it does not hurt quickly, regardless of who, where, when and on what day of the week and time of day it becomes painful. Just rrraz – and it doesn’t hurt.
12 So that all doctors are excellent, trained, professional, merciful, like in our hospice, so that it’s not scary to turn to them, otherwise you go like to the police, and good ones are all in vain and on the fingers of two hands …
13 All doctors, not just hospice ones, would know about pain relief and dying, and about what a person has to experience if he hurts and dies.
14 So that in my mother’s hospice the walls would forever remain saturated with it …
15 I want to cook as tasty and easy as Nanny Zina.
16 To on
17 Well, in general, it would be easier for the Vera Foundation to manage to attract money, otherwise it is very stressful to be in short supply all the time …
18 I want to be a successful matchmaker so that everyone who is not married in the fund or in the hospice falls in love and gets married.
19 I want my dad to never lose heart.
20 I want me to come home somehow, and there at the table sit all those who have not been sitting at the table with me for a long time: grandmother, mother, and … so many names can be written here …
21 I can list for a long time what I want if I don’t want to sleep. But I want to sleep almost always …
