What are heel spurs? What ointments can be used on heel spurs? Are Ukrainian or ointments safe? Is it worth preparing a home ointment for heel spurs? How can it be prepared? The question is answered by the drug. Anna Mitschke.
What ointments should you choose for heel spurs?
Good day. I have been struggling with heel spurs. I have used many different orthopedic insoles, some special devices to reduce the pain associated with them, but they continue to grow and continue to hurt. I go to rehabilitation at least once a year (ultrasound, laser, massage) and a few times a month to the swimming pool. Mostly I use the spa area, that is, water massage, bubble, jacuzzi to reduce pain. However, no one ever told me that I could use ointments for my heel spurs.
But what ointments can I use on the heel spurs? Painkiller, anti-inflammatory? Or maybe there are some ointments to reduce them? I read on the forum about heel spurs that there are some special Ukrainian and ointments, but are they safe? Opinions on various websites are positive. I’ve also read that some do home ointmentsbut it was no longer stated what it was made of. How can I prepare such an ointment? Are they effective at all? I am asking for advice. I will be grateful for every tip.
The doctor suggests what ointments can help with heel spurs
Heel pain is a relatively common ailment. One of the most common causes is the so-called calcaneal spur. The ailments are caused plantar fasciitis. It is due to degenerative changes. Plantar fasciitis is manifested by throbbing pain in the medial side of the heel. Pain worsens in the morning when you wake up or after a long period of rest. Usually, pain is milder after a while while walking.
However, the pain often recurs during the day with prolonged weight bearing of the heel. The ailments become persistent for the sick person. People who are overweight and obese, in old age, people practicing professional sports who have suffered an injury in the foot area, people working in a standing position, wearing uncomfortable and unsuitable footwear have a certain predisposition to this disease. In diagnostics, X-rays are used to show the pathology in the heel area.
If possible, factors that may aggravate foot pain should be eliminated. The heel should be relieved. Rest and stretching exercises are recommended prior to the planned loading of the foot. Rehabilitation treatments and physiotherapy are used. The treatment includes anti-inflammatory drugs, painkillers, also in the form of ointments available at the pharmacy, and cold compresses.
I do not recommend buying ointments from unreliable sources. They can do more harm than good. Pain relief can be brought by taping the arch of the foot, using orthopedic insoles for shoes, or special footwear supporting the arch of the foot. Gel heel insoles for heel pain and FootWave SOFTY spurs and Orthopedic insoles for FootWave heel spurs you can buy today in a convenient and safe way at Medonet Market. They are available in various sizes and at an attractive price. We also recommend Remove Ring heel spurs to reduce pain and improve walking comfort.
In advanced cases, injections of corticosteroids are used. Surgical treatment is used as a last resort when other methods fail.
The choice of treatment depends on the patient’s condition and the underlying cause. If your symptoms persist, please contact your GP or a specialist in orthopedics and traumatology for help. After examining the patient, the doctor will assess the patient’s condition and suggest the most effective treatment possible.
