I am constantly looking for new ideas. My wife’s birthday was approaching, and I wanted to do something unusual, she still has a sweet tooth!
On the Internet I came across a recipe for gelatin bears soaked in vodka. The idea seemed interesting, I decided to try, slightly changing the composition.

Ingredients for the recipe
By tradition, bears need to be filled with vodka. After a little thought, I decided to give the “gummi bears” a drink of homemade wine from white grapes, which, by the way, turned out to be excellent. So, I needed:
- “gummy bears” – 1 pack, weighing 140 g;
- homemade wine – 350 ml;
- liter jar with a lid (glass).
Important: when working with alcohol, it is not recommended to use plastic or metal utensils.
Considering that I make wine myself, and a package of bears costs 90 rubles, then for such a meager amount I got a chic dessert. My wife appreciated it, the guests were surprised a lot and at first thought that this was a children’s dessert …
How are we going to cook it?
The process itself is not particularly difficult. I cut the cellophane packaging and poured the bears into a jar. Topped with wine, closed the lid and sent to the refrigerator.
A day later, I was wondering what happened. Having carefully chewed one “Gummi”, I realized that I needed to alcoholize them for another day. The presence of alcohol was practically not felt.
The next day I took the sample again. I don’t know how with the addition of vodka, but with wine, two days of aging is not enough. Only after 4 days, when there was almost no wine left in the jar, the swollen and well-soaked jellies were taken out onto a plate.
Note: It took four days to prepare. The main thing is not to forget to periodically shake the jar of gelatin bears.
The result is an explosion of sensations
The result was an amazing dessert called “Gummi Bears in an adult way.” Soft tasty chewy sweets have a slightly intoxicating aftertaste. The smell of alcohol is completely absent. Only the aroma of vanilla and flavoring essences are felt, which are added to the bears by the manufacturer.
To diversify the recipe a little, you can use champagne or flavored vodka, for example, citrus. With vodka, the bears turn out to be more “drunk”, champagne improves the aroma.
If you wish, you can cook “Gummi” for the future, which I now do. They can be stored in the refrigerator for a long time and activated at the right time.
Tip: so that marmalades do not pull on foreign odors from the refrigerator, they must be stored in a closed container.
How to serve and with what to use
This delicious dessert can be served on its own or made into a wonderful cocktail. This will require:
- a glass of semi-sweet white wine – free of charge for me;
- ¼ orange – an average of 4 rubles;
- 100 g of orange juice – 4 rubles;
- ¼ lime – 12 rubles;
- ¼ apple – 6 rubles;
- 100 ml of sprite lemonade – 10 rubles;
- 6 pcs of alcoholized bears – an average of 5 rubles.
From these ingredients, I make a semi-sweet, slightly carbonated, low-alcohol cocktail. First of all, you need to mix orange juice with wine. Then we lay out one slice of chopped fruit in each glass, add two “drunk” bears and ice (if desired).
Juice mixed with wine, pour into a glass, about half. I leave it for 5 minutes so that the drink gets the taste of fruits and marmalades. Now you can fill the glasses with Sprite to the very top.
As a result, I get 4 glasses of a very tasty low-alcohol drink, the cost of which costs a penny. The total cost of a cocktail is about 41 rubles. It’s gorgeous!
