If the Mabe washing machine gives an error, the first thing the user must do is decipher the code, determine the causes of the breakdown, and find ways to solve the problem.
Many Mabe models, regardless of the type of loading – front or horizontal, are equipped with electronic displays and a self-diagnostic system. Having found a breakdown, it displays fault codes on the scoreboard.
Next, we will look at the main error codes, tell you what to do and how to troubleshoot yourself.
Important! If the error indicates a software failure, it is best not to attempt to repair or replace the CMA control unit. These works should be entrusted to the master.
Mabe washing machine error table: causes, signs and troubleshooting
Fault designation | Signs and causes of breakdowns |
d01 | With error 01, water is not poured into the tank. May be accompanied by a failure of washing programs. Possible reasons:
|
d02 | Water does not drain from the machine. In this case, there is a pressure switch error. Possible circuit break. If it shows error 02, it may be necessary to clean the drain filter, repair or replace the pressure switch (level, pressure sensor). In difficult cases, contact the master. |
d03 | What does the combination D 03 mean? It can be a breakdown of the temperature sensor, a tubular electric heater (heater) or a failure of the electronic module. The error is followed by washing in cold water. What to do:
|
d04 | If the washing machine issued D 04, this may indicate a breakdown of the triac of the control unit. Triac needs to be replaced. |
d07 | D 07 lights up if the laundry door is not closed too tightly. Try closing the door tighter. You may need to replace the UBL or repair (replace) the handle. The guide door could also be askew. To replace (repair) the handle and guide, you will need to disassemble the hatch. |
D10 | The machine shows D10 on the display when there is too much water in the tank. This code indicates a failure of the water level sensor. It is also possible that the reason is too strong water pressure in the water supply – try screwing on the valve and starting the wash again. |
D17 | With error D17, there is a high probability that the drive belt has fallen off the pulley. How to fix it yourself:
|
D21 | When code D21 is lit on the display, a software failure has occurred. It is necessary to replace the damaged sections of the control unit or completely reinstall the board. |
ER12 | Error ER 12 in SM appears when there are problems with closing the hatch. The UBL may need to be repaired or replaced. |
F01 | With code F01, no water enters the tank. To remove the error, you need to check the elements of the filling system:
|
F02 | F02 flashed? Often this code appears if the drum stops and the waste water does not drain from it. There may have been an open circuit. But often in this case, inspection and adjustment of the drain system helps:
|
C03 | The code C03 lights up on the display if the drum does not rotate. The engine of the Mabe washing machine may have failed. |
F04 | With error F04, the washing machine does not turn on. To find out the causes of the breakdown, you need a service test, diagnostics of the control board. Self measures:
The mains filter may have failed. It is required to remove the top cover and replace the filter (often sold with a power cord). |
F05-F10 | Errors, from F05 to F10, may indicate a software failure. Often, with such fault codes, repair or replacement of the controller (control unit) is required. |
Now you know what this or that fault code means. Often you can reset the error yourself by simply turning off and restarting the machine.
If the breakdown requires more drastic measures, you can repair it yourself or contact a good craftsman.
