And I am ready to share a detailed report on the beer preferences of residents of different countries. So, my personal world beer digest, let’s go!
What kind of beer do they drink in Europe
European beer traditions are a distinctive culture with traditional festivals, customs and heritage.
Germany. Munich and Bavarian, in the opinion of many – the best beer in the world. It is brewed according to old recipes from water, barley and hops. The main manufacturers are Paulaner, Krombacher, Franziskaner, Rex, Spaten, Oettinger.

Czech. In this country, beer is not just brewed with high quality, here they know how to appreciate its taste. Czech beer has its own characteristics, it has a noble bitterness, in contrast to the sweet German.
Craft beer, such as Bizon, Euphoria, is also valued there. The main firms are: Bernard, Ferdinand, Budweiser, Staropramen, Pilsner, Velkopopovickiy Kozel.

Drinking culture and cozy pubs, friendly staff: the Czech flavor is inimitable. Beer has been brewed in the Czech Republic since the time of the Celts, that is, the experience of hoo.
They say that in the Czech Republic they check beer with a coin. It is placed in a glass with a freshly poured drink. It will be a good indicator if she did not drown immediately.
Belgium. The country is famous for its Brussels beer, which is pleasantly tart and naturally fermented. The main variety is Lambic (Labmik). Other varieties are brewed on its basis, for example, such as Stella Artois (Stella Artos) and Becks (Becks).

France. This is a land of wine rather than beer. Maybe that’s why the price for it is sometimes higher than the cost of “grape juice”.
I managed to try such varieties as Biere de garde (Biere de Garde) – a drink from the north of France and beer with Alsatian hops and notes of citrus Kronenbourg 1664 (Kronenburg). French exoticism gives a special chic to the drink, the taste is really excellent.
Austria. This is of course Dunkel beer (Dunkel), Denmark is Tuborg and Carlsberg.
What kind of beer do they drink in America
America has a special relationship with beer. It is not perceived as an alcoholic drink – it is a means to quench thirst. The main producers of beer in America: Anheuser-Busch – Budweiser beer (Badweiser), Michelob, Miller Brewing Co, Adolph Coors – Coors beer (Course) and The Boston Beer Company.
Americans don’t buy 1-2 bottles. In the fridge of every self-respecting American family, there should be a couple of beers for guests. In Russia, it would be so, in our country, on the contrary, it is supposed to come with your own.
The choice in supermarkets, I will say, is not bad, and the price does not bite. To buy a package of 36 cans, you need only $22. In Russian rubles, this is 40 rubles per jar. Beer for the price of juice!
What kind of beer do they drink in Asia
We will only talk about Chinese beer, we immediately delete the rest from the list, since it is not worth our attention. You will be surprised, but the Chinese are one of the most drinking nations. Perhaps the statistics distort their numbers, but a quarter of the world’s stock of foamy drink is drunk there during the season.
Chinese beer is characterized by low strength (3-4 degrees), a specific sweetish taste and low foaminess. With all this – it is very tasty. Famous Chinese beers: Tsingtao (Tsingdao), Yanjing (Yangjin) and Snow (Snow).
The cost of Chinese beer is high. For example, a light malt beer made with rice water and Qingdao hops by Tsingtao Brewery Co. LTD at a price of 220 rubles. And it’s still very cheap. But the aftertaste is great, so I recommend it.
Russian beer
There is an opinion that there is no good beer in Russia. I personally found – in some local breweries, the drink tastes very good.
For example, in Moscow beer brand “Afanasy” or in Saratov “Bohemia”. I am proud to note that the craft beer market is rapidly developing today, becoming bright and saturated.
Some brands of our domestic beer are even found on the top lines of solid ratings.
For example, the Khalzan Ochakov beer is recognized as popular and of high quality, and the craft foam drinks from the Moscow Volkovskaya Brewery were honored to hit the shelves of the Pyaterochka and Dixy supermarkets.
The bottle line of the Vasileostrovskaya brewery from the glorious St. Petersburg is good. The beer is of high quality, the assortment is huge, and the price for a witber or wheat foamy hoppy ale is from 100 rubles.
