Due to the increase in the number of infections, which affect in Israel not only the unvaccinated, but also people whose immunity has already dropped after two doses of the preparation, a scenario is contemplated to administer a fourth or even a fifth dose.
– Considering that the virus is with us and will remain with us, we must prepare for the fourth dose – said Prof. Salman Zarka, coronavirus expert.
According to the specialist, the next dose should, however, be modified in such a way that it better protects against new variants of the coronavirus. It is also possible that the process of vaccinating society will not end there.
