What are the symptoms of syncope?
- Syncope may be preceded by warning signs with a feeling of discomfort, skin pallor, sweating, or even nausea.
- It can also occur without warning sign causing a sudden fall with in this case, an increased risk of trauma.
- Both forms of syncope can exist during the lifetime of the same person.
- The syncope itself corresponds to a loss of consciousness, with or without a fall depending on whether or not the person perceives discomfort and whether or not they have time to lie down.
