What are load trainers and what are they for?

What are load simulators and how to use them correctly in a training complex

If we talk about strength training equipment, then most often preference is given to equipment that is loaded with disks. Loaded simulators make it possible to work with different weights, adjust the load according to your capabilities, and increase it as needed. Such simulators are suitable not only for installation in fitness clubs. There are home options that are compact and convenient way to store discs in special drives.

Purpose of loadable simulators

Loaded machines are also called free weight machines. They are installed both in large clubs with several tiers, and in mini rocking chairs. And they are used to perform exercises such as:

  • twisting;
  • bench press;
  • squats;
  • flexion and extension of arms and legs;
  • adduction and dilution of arms and legs.

Systems are created taking into account the performance of natural movements by a person based on his biomechanics. The risks of injury are low if you follow simple rules of operation. Disc trainers allow you to:

  • reduce the amount of fat and give the body relief;
  • increase muscle mass;
  • strengthen the whole body;
  • work out individual muscle groups;
  • increase endurance;
  • develop your physical potential.

Anti-slip footrests, soft and comfortable cushions, rubberized handles make it possible to practice for a long time and with comfort. Loaded simulators are suitable for both experienced bodybuilders, athletes, and for beginners who have not previously been involved in sports.

The main characteristics of load simulators

  1. Ergonomics – You can adjust the elements as you like to increase your personal comfort while exercising. It is possible to switch modes, adjust the position of the handles and more.
  2. Strength — The equipment is made of high-strength steel and other metal parts. There is no plastic in the construction, so you can be sure of the durability of the systems.
  3. Stylish design — Modern exercise machines have different shades — from stylish metallics to bright saturated color tones. Thanks to this, you can choose equipment for a specific room – a gym or a home environment.
  4. Reliability – Ability to withstand heavy loads during frequent use. The simulators are designed for constant and intensive use, have a high degree of wear resistance.
  5. Easy Maintenance – Loaded simulators have a simple design and do not require special attention and maintenance, and do not require frequent repairs.

Features of load simulators

When working with a heavy load, you must constantly concentrate on sensations, maintain balance. Equipment on free weights allows you to exercise freely, not to constantly monitor the technique and your posture. The equipment fixes the athlete’s body, relieves pressure from the back, which is necessary for people who suffer from various diseases of the spine. All movements are controlled, occur along the initially set trajectory.

Loaded machines can be seen in any gym, as they are necessary for building muscle mass. After a few months of hard training, you can achieve good results.

Types of loadable simulators

  1. Power benches – This simulator consists of a base, barbells and discs. Basically, these are universal designs for sports, which make it possible to train different muscles, use free weights – kettlebells, barbells and dumbbells. There are also benches that allow you to do exercises with your weight. Power racks are used as an addition – these are two supports that are connected to each other. They are needed to perform exercises with a barbell. Sometimes racks come with benches. The neck and discs made of metal can also be included or they need to be bought separately.
  2. Power centers – They consist of benches, blocks and racks. With the help of equipment loaded with free weights, you can change the load, which depends on the mass of the disks. What exercises you can perform depends on the configuration of the system. It may include blocks for the leg and upper pull, a desk for the biceps, as well as a lever for the butterfly. The lever creates an imitation of exercises that are usually performed with dumbbells. In some cases, you can work the deltoid muscles with a butterfly lever. The biceps desk is a support for the elbow so that you can perform various arm movements along with dumbbells. A block for the upper thrust makes it possible to strengthen the muscles of the arms and back. Strength centers are usually foldable so that they can be used both in the gym and at home.
  3. Highly focused simulators – Used to work out individual muscle groups. With their help, you can perform only one movement. It can be flexion or extension of the legs, vertical bench press, etc. Such designs are not purchased for home use due to their bulkiness.

Almost all simulators can be adjusted for themselves, taking into account their capabilities and level of training. For the convenience of performing exercises, it is possible to adjust the leg block, seat, lever length, backrest, and more.
