Wenneker liqueurs: history and types of alcohol

Wenneker is a natural Dutch liqueur with centuries of history, an incredible amount of original flavors and high production standards.

The history of the company of the same name began on February 16, 1693. This is evidenced by records in ancient documents. Then the Dutchman Hendrik Stieman received a license to build two cubes for brandy.

In 1812 Johann Wenneker took over the company. This was a successful start to the formation of the empire of the alcohol giant – the Wenneker company.

In 1903, the last of Johann’s heirs, John Wenneker, sold the distillery to the Van der Tyne family. Today, the fourth generation runs the company. They successfully develop their business, keep up with the times, but also remain unchanged the original basic recipes of the XNUMXth century and the high quality of the produced drinks, which is always a top priority for Wenneker Distilleries.

Types of Wenneker liqueur

The line of liqueurs includes more than 40 original flavors, which the manufacturer has divided into 10 categories.

Each of the drinks is a real work of art, this is evidenced by the skillful hand of the master, who created secret recipes, and his students continue to amaze with new masterpieces.

All drinks are made exclusively from natural products, which once again testifies to the high production standards of the company.

Berry liqueurs

  1. Wenneker Blackberry (blackberry), 20%

  4. Wenneker Crème de cassis, 15% – a dark purple drink, made on the basis of concentrated blackcurrant juice.

  3. Wenneker Chocolate Mint, 27% – the liqueur combines the sweet notes of dark chocolate and the light freshness of peppermint.

  4. Wenneker Creme de Cacao (Brown), 27% – dark brown cream liqueur, made from first class cocoa bean extract.

  5. Wenneker Creme de Cacao (White), 24% – a transparent drink with a rich taste of chocolate, caramel and vanilla.

Fruit liqueurs

  1. Wenneker Apricot Brandy, 27% is a classic liqueur in which the taste of ripe apricots is set off by notes of good French brandy and cognac.

  2. Wenneker Cherry Brandy, 25% – dark red liqueur with a bright taste of juicy cherries and interesting shades of brandy.

  3. Wenneker Creme de Bananes, 20% – cream liqueur has a bright yellow color and elegant shades of banana and vanilla are revealed in the taste.

  5. Wenneker Lychee, 20% is an exquisite liqueur with an intriguing taste of exotic lychee fruits and a long aftertaste.

2. Wenneker 24 Carrot Liqueur – An orange-colored liqueur made from carrots. Instead of a standard bottle, manufacturers use the original jar-shaped container.
