  • Never massage a sick child.
  • Do not perform procedures earlier than 2 hours after a meal.
  • Massage should be done in a bright, ventilated and clean room.

  • Communicate with your child during the procedure. Sing songs, talk, then the baby will perceive the session as an exciting game.
  • Use baby oil or cream to soften baby’s skin.
  • All movements must be performed without any pressure.
  • The child should not experience any painful sensations.
  • It is necessary to start and end the session with simple strokes.
  • Massage movements should be directed towards the joints, not away from them.

Wellness massage is a great way to improve your baby’s condition. This method is best used in conjunction with morning exercises. If you are having a session before bedtime, do only relaxing exercises. In this case, the baby will sleep well.
