One evening in May, He and She met on a park bench. Word by word, phrase by phrase, and a real psychological thriller is spinning in front of us, in which truth and lies, love and hate are mixed. A man and a woman who met by chance in a park on a bench will have to live a whole life in one evening. The bench becomes a witness of hopes and disappointments, explosions of passion and despair. But any meeting is not accidental: gradually the characters come to understand not only each other, but also themselves.

This performance is a view of the young generation on the history of the country. The main character is Venya, who was born in 1912 and died in 2010. He remembers how the expropriation went on after October, how the family survived the Leningrad blockade of the Great Patriotic War. He watches how relatives are fighting for life in modern times. In the performance of the young director Anna Gorushkina, this intellectual hero contemplates the entire XNUMXth century. He does not participate in history, but is an integral part of it. Through his eyes, we look at a rapidly changing world. How will his family survive and what will prevail in the family: crude materialism or a reverent attitude towards the world?
