Forums and social networks are full of various information about tick habits, their dietary preferences, etc. Most of them, however, are untrue and create an image of the tick as an incredibly agile and sophisticated creature capable of James Bond-like feats.
The truth is that:
Ticks do not fly or jump
The tick passes to the host during direct contact, i.e. rubbing with a part of the body against a leaf on which an arachnid sits.
Ticks do not fall on their prey from trees because they do not live in trees
They can climb to a height of up to 1,5 meters at most. It does not pay off for them to go high and wait in the tree for an opportunity, because the chance of hitting the target is much smaller then, and the effort is much greater.

Ticks are not fans of certain plant species
You often hear that they are sitting in ferns, clumps of blackberries, elderberries or hazel. Ticks primarily care about the ease of feeding and avoiding direct exposure to the sun. They choose shade and moisture because they absorb water from the air.
Ticks are blind, so it doesn’t matter what color you put your clothes on
What matters for a tick is the odor produced, not the color of the garment.
When it comes to smells, ticks are said to be scared off by raw garlic or oils – mint or clove
Well, you can try, if only to feel better.
Whenever you find a tick on your body, try to remove it as soon as possible. You can use the Tick remover – KLESZCZ EXPERT, which has freezing properties. Then you can safely remove the tick with the tweezers that come with the product. Also try the Tick Remover – TICK OUT. It works on the principle of a pump, thanks to which you can easily pull the tick from the skin.
