Convertible furniture is ideal for not too spacious apartments. Saving space – and great opportunities.

2. Armchair with footrest
Even the most comfortable chair needs a faithful assistant. You will hardly be able to sit curled up for a long time – your legs will become numb, you will want to arrange them somehow more comfortably. for this, a special ottoman is needed. It is usually sold in the same series as the chair.
A folding chair eliminates the need to look for a place in the apartment for a step-ladder, without which you cannot hang curtains and dust from cabinets cannot be wiped off. When folded, you can put it in the hallway, and store creams and shoe brushes in a drawer.

* When buying transforming furniture, first of all, check the operation of the mechanism, and only then the quality of the upholstery, decoration, etc. Everything should unfold and fold absolutely smoothly and easily, without jerks and creaks. Having to make an effort to turn, say, a sofa into a bed? It is better to immediately refuse such a purchase!
* If possible, immediately buy a spare set of parts (wheels, rails, etc.): if even a small part in the transformer mechanism fails, you will not be able to use such furniture until you replace the desired “screw”.
* Any, even the highest quality folding furniture is always less durable than “fixed”, so protect it from unnecessary stress. Do not let children jump on the couch or chair bed!
