– When used correctly, thermal water can make life much easier – a small bubble will save you in the heat and on an exhausting workout, and a large one will refresh you while working in the office. I never use it on the beach: in the sun, the drops act like small magnifiers, drying out my skin. The brands contain different minerals in the composition of the water, with their help you can correct the complexion, reduce inflammation and even oily shine.

Expectations: the manufacturer says that thermal water is born in the depths of volcanoes in the center of France in the Auverne region, protected from pollution since 1874. It forms at a depth of 4 thousand meters from the surface of the earth, at a temperature of 140 ° C. Passing through igneous rocks that are more than 380 million years old, Vichy water is saturated with minerals and trace elements. As part of them 15, water strengthens, restores, normalizes the pH of the skin and enhances the natural barrier-protective functions.

Reality: the water has good atomization – voluminous and not too wet, the droplets are very small and look more like a suspension. On the face, it also remains hazy and dries quickly, none of the colleagues has time to ask why it is wet. After application, the water does not dry out, does not shrink and does not leave a film. I love exactly the water in cylinders: it is always cool.

Evaluation: 10 out of 10, this water is one of the favorites that are always in the home arsenal.

Expectations: glacier water in the form of a spray soothes, tones, and also improves skin color, making it fresh and youthful, helps to fight excess oily skin. Contains an optimal pH level, enriched with potassium, calcium, magnesium and other beneficial minerals. Melt water acts as a biostimulant on skin structures. Melt water stimulates skin cells to renew, and collagen and elastin fibers to regenerate. This is one of the best remedies for edema and spider veins for thin skin, skin with rosacea.

Reality: the fact that this water differs from the previous one is clear already by spraying: it has much larger drops that remain on the face and hands. Not the best for makeup. Therefore, it dries longer. It has no smell, color and taste, as befits melt water, but the presence of hyaluronic acid is felt when the water begins to dry on the face. The skin is nourished, but there is a feeling of a film, as if applying a nourishing tonic.

Evaluation: 6 out of 10 – I can’t put more because of the sensation of something foreign on my face.

Expectations: the water consists of 100% natural grapes, like most of the brand’s products. Light haze soothes, refreshes, moisturizes the skin at any time of the day.

Reality: my first thermal water – I still can’t leave the pharmacy without another bottle. This year, the design has been updated, the bottle now has a minimalistic pink lid and is painted with watercolor grapes – it looks very cute. Due to its small volume, water can be carried in hand luggage (hurray!). This water has a rather persistent aroma of grapes – as if it had recently been washed with juicy bunches on a slightly dried out twig. The effect of freshness from it is less than from Vichy – it feels more nutritious, but I like the spraying of the latter more.

Caudalie does not shrink or dry out, absorbs in 30 seconds and does not draw its own moisture from the skin.

Evaluation: 8 out of 10, I took two points for the smell.

– I use thermal water very rarely, only in summer and only in extreme cases. To be honest, this type of product is not part of my ritual. I’m too lazy and not used to doing unnecessary actions. However, in hot summer weather, you really want to freshen up. So why not? The main thing is that the thermal water brings real benefits to the skin.

Expectations: the product from Payot is positioned rather not as thermal water, but as a spray-mist. Although in terms of functions, it can quite compare with it. The manufacturer promises that the spray refreshes, energizes and moisturizes the skin. The composition contains hyaluronic acid and superfruit extracts. In addition, it protects against impurities and tone the skin.

Reality: in fact, it turned out to be quite pleasant water with a neutral perfumery scent. After application, the skin was moisturized and refreshed. The scent remained on the skin for several hours, which I didn’t really like. Also, I was not pleased with the list of ingredients: natural ingredients like fruit extracts are in the last places. In principle, the haze is not bad, but I have not yet understood its meaning. The description says that it can be applied before using the cream. I, however, find it more convenient to spray the spray just during the day.

Rating: 8 out of 10. I took off points for the fragrance and for the not very eco-friendly composition.

– Thermal water is always in my cosmetic bag in summer, and on my desk all year round. I can’t even imagine what I would do without her! It refreshes the skin in hot weather and saves from dry air in the office. I have tried this beauty product from different brands, but most of all I liked Five Elements.

Expectations: the description for Five Elements thermal water says that it provides the skin with comfort, restores its moisture balance, moisturizes and soothes. But the most interesting thing is that the product does not contain preservatives and fragrances, but they took it … from the old Swiss balneological resort Bad Zurzach. Agree, it’s impressive! Especially for the price of a little less than 300 rubles …

Reality: I have rather sensitive skin, so I am very sensitive to the choice of cosmetics and most often I use what I chose a few years ago. However, at the checkout of the Rive Gauche store, she could not resist and, on the advice of a consultant, took Five Element thermal water. And, perhaps, it was one of my best decisions in beauty corners. The remedy suited me very well. It adheres perfectly to the skin, dries instantly and, most importantly, does not leave streaks, even if you have foundation, powder or mascara on your face. The mini-format of the product is also a pleasant bonus: 50 ml of water in a small bottle will fit even in a very miniature bag.

Its composition is a unique combination of mineral salts and oligoelements and supports the physiological balance of sensitive skin. Neutralizes free radicals that damage cells. By the way, thermal water can be applied not only on the face, as, however, many of us are used to, but also on the neck and décolleté, on the body and individual areas, it is suitable for children, it is recommended for the male half as well.

Another indisputable plus of thermal water is that it can be applied both before and after makeup. The appearance will not be affected in any way, but the face will thank you for the refreshing express procedure.

Reality: water instantly moisturizes and softens the skin, helps to maintain the freshness and beauty of the face. Cosmetics of this brand do not cause allergies, I did not notice any reaction or redness, which means that thermal water is suitable for the most sensitive skin. After application, the water does not leave a sticky oily film on the skin and does not conflict with subsequent applied products: serum or cream. I was pleased with my choice!

– In recent days in Moscow it has been very hot, it is stuffy all around. I can’t say that I didn’t do without thermal water before, but my colleagues assured that this is the way out. So I decided to try Babor thermal water.

Expectations: the description says that the product refreshes and soothes. Thermal water relieves microinflammation and redness. Babor is 100% hydration + the perfect anti-stress program for face and body.

Reality: firstly, I really liked the bottle. Simple and concise. As a rule, these are the ones where the best funds turn out to be. After all, the manufacturer does not need to draw additional attention to his product. The main advertisement is the quality of the product itself.

It is very convenient that the jar is made in the form. Just a couple of efforts and you are already enjoying the freshness. And not only. I really liked the subtle, as it seemed to me, floral scent.

The first time I went a little too far with the “zips” and thought that the product would spread over the skin. But no. It was absorbed in just a couple of minutes.

The feeling of freshness during use lasts for about a few hours, and it seems that even the bruises under the eyes gradually become less noticeable. I definitely like everything.
