Wday tests: long-lasting lipsticks

– I regularly use matte lipsticks and love them for their durability and visual lip augmentation. And, in my opinion, applying dark lipstick is the most convenient way to transform your makeup from daytime to evening. My choice for testing fell on two means (I could not help but take advantage of the privileges of a beauty editor), namely, liquid matte lipsticks from Catrice and Oriflame. First of all, because of the beautiful shades: nude for every day and a darker option for special occasions.

Matt Pro Ink matte lipstick, shade 050 my life – my decision, CATRICE, 471 rubles

Expectations: 12 hours durability, matte finish, easy application and fast drying.

Reality: I applied lipstick in the shade “My life – my rules” along with a lip liner, as I love a clearer contour. But then I realized that it was not needed: the applicator is so convenient that it can draw a pronounced line. I was very impressed with the result. Apparently, the magic happened, and the color combined with the matte texture suited me very much. She received compliments from colleagues all day. In terms of durability, the lipstick withstood a trip on the subway in a protective mask and morning coffee. However, after eating, I had to tweak the makeup a little: although the color was preserved, I wanted more brightness.

Rating: 10 out of 10. Matt Pro Ink is definitely one of my favorite lip products for every day! Now I recommend it to all my friends.

Expectation: long-lasting dense coating without stickiness, no dryness on the lips.

Reality: From my own experience, I can say that the only drawback that I felt when using matte liquid lipsticks was the feeling of dryness and cracks on my lips. However, Oriflame has an incredibly pleasant creamy texture that only made me feel soft throughout the day. I would also like to note the incredibly stylish color of cinnamon, which goes well with my green eyes.

Evaluation: 10 of 10. The tool meets all the stated requirements. I recommend!

Super-resistant liquid matte lipstick Super Stay Matte Ink, Maybelline, 399 rubles

Expectations: There are three main points in the novelty: rich pigments, easy application and durability of 16 hours.

Reality: the lipstick has a very convenient applicator. Thanks to its slightly pointed shape, the product can be applied without a pencil – the contour is painted over so well. I got a shade with the self-explanatory name “Leader” (Ringleader 175) in the color of an ash rose. Looks bright, but not flashy. Lipstick does not dry lips, but slightly frustrated with a slightly sticky effect. I admit, I didn’t time out the time of perseverance, but it’s already nice that even after lunch the makeup did not suffer much. For the whole day I tinted my lips at most once. But in the evening I had to wash my face a little longer, as the lipstick firmly adhered to the lips.

Rating: 9 out of 10. In general, a good product for every day, but the sticky effect at the beginning of the application spoiled the impression a little.

Lip makeup kit Oh! my LIPS, Eveline Cosmetics, 199 rubles

Expectations: I had no particular hopes for a budgetary facility, rare use was planned. The manufacturer promised full coverage without smudging and long fixes.

Reality: the effect exceeded all expectations. The lipstick is easy to apply, the texture is very soft and dries quickly. Lipstick lasted more than 5 hours. By choosing the right color, you can go through without having to touch up your makeup.

Evaluation: I was satisfied. 10 of 10. The remedy turned out to be higher than expected.

Lipstick Matte Legend, AVON, 299 rubles

Reality: Believe it or not, all the claimed benefits have been proven in practice thanks to an eaten lunch, two cups of matcha latte and a few kisses at the end of the day. The lipstick really fits easily and evenly, adheres perfectly and does not dry the lips at all! A pleasant bonus is a wide selection of shades and a presentable appearance of the lipstick itself, which is pleasant to carry with you.

Lipstick stick Superstay Ink Crayon in the shade 25-Stay exeptional, Maybelline, 378 rubles

– I love matte lipsticks, as this is a great option for every day, the main thing is to choose your own shade.

Expectation: pencil lipstick is my favorite format in a makeup bag and a great alternative to the classic shape. Usually, budget options do not last long on the lips, so I did not have high expectations.

Reality: lipstick worthy of durability! The bright color was with me for half a day, having endured lunch with drinks. Of course, I had to correct it after eating, but the lipstick did not disappear from the lips: the shade was only muted, there were also no sharp transitions between the natural lip color and lipstick – a kind of effect of kissed lips. I will warn you that it is worth using with a contour (in tone and colorless), since without it, the evenness of the lines is lost.

A separate plus for the ease of use on the road and on the go. The make-up came out without edits straight away – the shape of the pencil allows. And the sharpener built on the other side is a comfortable necessity to correct the lipstick shape after prolonged use.

Rating: 9 out of 10. Considering the price and durability, it is an excellent analogue of luxury products and a must-have travel cosmetic bag.

Expectations: An ultra-long-lasting coating that provides intense hydration and nourishment, softens and smoothes lips, and can withstand up to 300 kisses.

Reality: Clarins Tint is a must-have for those who appreciate naturalness. It has an unobtrusive fruity scent that creates a fresh feeling on the lips. The tint can be applied with your own brush or with your fingertips, thereby varying the intensity of the color. But the effect always remains the same – kissed lips and hydration without stickiness and heaviness. Falling in love with myself, looking at my lips with this tint.
