Wday tests: hair repair treatments

Hair type: I have naturally good hair, which I do not dye (yet). The only problems are split ends and a light fuzz on the temples, which is nailed down by styling. In principle, I don’t do lamination and biowaving of my hair, and I also use stylers a couple of times a year. This saves hair – even next day hair looks pretty decent.

About the procedure: on Friday night I was late for an hour and a half due to the abundance of work (classic). Despite this, the master performed it with dignity – while maintaining the composition on his head, he entertained me with professional bikes and stories about the specifics of the procedures.

The treatment was carried out using Schwarzkopf Professional cosmetics – formulations with raspberry and succinic acid should strengthen hair and restore molecular bonds between keratin fibers. The result should be especially impressive for girls with dyed or bleached hair – they are the ones who most often suffer from dry and dull hair.

One of the most useful acquisitions of Kontier is massage chairs in the shampoo area. In truth, I really suffer from sitting for half an hour in an uncomfortable position with my head tilted up – everything is very comfortable here, the intensity of the massage can be adjusted.

After 20 minutes with the mask, conditioner is applied to the hair and rinsed off. Further styling, which is included in the cost of the procedure. I was very happy to see that the salon was working on the new Dyson Supersonic hair dryers (those with a motor in the handle and a nozzle in the center) – I have long wanted to try it in business. Styled quickly and quietly – my normally curly hair is light in straight and shiny strands.

Effect: acids did their job – the hair looked well-groomed for another week. They have definitely become denser at the ends. Such express cares are added to all paint boxes – the effect can be compared to them. I recommend it to those who want to keep the softness and color of their hair in between dyeing. Evaluation: 10 out of 10, especially for being styled in a new way, without “curls”.

Hair type: thin and capricious. The “salon effect”, as a rule, does not last long, and therefore most of the time I struggle with dryness, lack of shine and elasticity.

About the procedure: the Aloxxi RRx Treatment was originally designed for professional use only. But the product was to the liking of consumers, so a simplified series soon appeared – for home use.

The uniqueness of the product lies in its patented composition. Peptides, amino acids, lipids – all these words cause confusion in an ordinary person, but it is they that improve the quality of hair, increase its strength, and restore it from the inside. Camellia and argan oil extract (an almost magical substance, which, for example, in Morocco is even added to food – Ed.) give shine and smoothness, and Gotu Kola extract (a plant that Indian elephants are very fond of (!), has a huge range of useful properties – Ed.) – moisturizes and gives vitality.

The system includes two stages: restoring and reconstructing. But, despite the “scary” names, the procedure is quite simple and very pleasant. First, they wash their hair with a special regenerating shampoo, then apply a serum for 5 minutes, after which a renewing cream is used (the head is in a towel for 10-20 minutes).

– It is not worth expecting that your hair will instantly “pour with oil, as in an advertisement”. This effect can be achieved one-time with lamination. But this will be a temporary effect, after which the hair will return to its original appearance (or maybe worse (!) Due to the “blockage” of the hair). The Aloxxi RRx Treatment System is aimed at healing from the inside out and has a cumulative effect. Ideally, you need to do several procedures so that your hair will delight you for a long time. Although, of course, you will feel the changes and even see, – the master warned me before the procedure began. (And it seems she was just being shy!)

Well, before my hair for shampoo advertising would hardly fit. But look at the video! Now I understand what it means to radiate health from within.

Hair, absurd, like my character, delighted me with its complaisance for about three more weeks. But curling, straightening with irons and daily drying with a hairdryer has not been canceled. Am I happy with the result? You also ask!

Hair type: I have thin, thick hair with light gray hair, not dyed. In principle, they are in good condition and do not require any cardinal intervention. The only thing that worried me after the winter was dry scalp.

About the procedure: this hair treatment is a real spa! When I came to the salon, I was given a detailed tour of the territory. It turned out that in addition to manicure, the services of a hairdresser-stylist and the actual spa services in Mahash SPA, you can also take a steam bath before any chosen procedure, which, by the way, is great for relaxing!

I chose the Botanical Therapy procedure, which included scalp cleansing and hair restoration. All on professional products from the Aveda lines. This cosmetics consists of almost 100 percent natural ingredients, which I really liked. The master first arranged a “scent trip” for me. I closed my eyes and chose the most pleasant essential oil scent of the three. I got the peppermint. After that, the master gave me a massage of the neck-collar zone using this ether. Next, a peeling based on salicylic acid was applied to the scalp. A few minutes – and it was thoroughly washed off with shampoo for deep cleansing. Next, a protein spray was applied to the hair, wrapped in a hot towel and left for a few minutes. While I was waiting for the completion of the procedure, the master gave me the most pleasant hand massage with natural Mahash lotion. An unforgettable pleasure! And what the skin of the hands has become!

After that, the hairdresser washed off the deep impact product and laid her hair in a lush shock.

Effect: after the procedure, the hair was pleasantly fragrant with herbs, was soft and very shiny. I have never seen my hair like this. The master said that this treatment is suitable for uncolored damaged hair. It can be done every three to four weeks, or a little less often. The effect of the procedure is quite long – about 7-10 days, depending on the structure and degree of hair damage. After the first wash of the head, the shine did not disappear anywhere, and the hair could be combed even without using a balm.

Rating: 10 out of 10. I would love to repeat the procedure, and more than once!

– I really like to do styling in the salon, because it can be difficult to cope with my thick hair on my own. But I rarely get to salon procedures for care. I do not believe in the long-lasting effect of a one-time visit, and for regular visits, most often there is not enough time. Therefore, I prefer masks at home. But sometimes I want to pamper myself: it seems to me that if you start the morning with a trip to the salon, then the mood for the day is guaranteed.

Hair type: thick, dense, slightly curly, undyed. There are no special problems with them, periodically they require increased attention after cold weather or strong sun.

About the procedure: at the Paul Mitchell salon, which is loved by many Hollywood stars in the USA, I chose a treatment aimed at deep hydration of the hair. The salon operates on its own cosmetics, which include organic ingredients, which are grown by the brand owners on their own farm in Hawaii. I had to get acquainted with the line, which includes marula oil. It is derived from the seeds of the fruit of the African marula tree and is known for its highly moisturizing and nourishing properties. First, they washed my hair with a special shampoo, at the same time doing a pleasant massage, then they applied an intensive mask to which cold-pressed oil was added. The promised effect is softness, shine and “sealing” of split ends. I sat under the lamp for 10 minutes so that the heat intensified the effect. The mask was washed off and hair conditioner was applied. In principle, the whole process did not differ much from the usual care, only it was accompanied by a pleasant smell. Before drying my head, I was also given a styling product with marula, which removes excess fluffiness, after which I styled my hair with a hairdryer, twisting the ends.

Effect: I was worried that the oil treatment would weigh down my already dense hair, but this did not happen. They became soft and shiny, perfectly kept their shape during installation, and they retained a pleasant aroma. In the salon, the procedure is recommended to be carried out together with hair lamination – then the effect is even more noticeable and long-lasting. But I was promised that all the pleasant bonuses – shine and softness of hair – will last for two weeks.

Evaluation: 10 of 10. I would love to use this kind of care regularly!

– Many years ago, while filming with Heidi Klum, stylist Kevin Murphy could not achieve the desired effect. Then he did the incredible, which would seem strange to many. He mixed the styling product with face toner and powder! It sounds crazy, but the effect has been achieved. By the way, Kelvin was the first who came up with the idea to mix cosmetology and styling in one jar. And after a while, the stylist announced the appearance of a new product – hair care products with stem cells obtained from plants. Kevin Murphy, as you probably already guessed, is a famous figure! He is the most famous stylist in Australia, the most famous people in the world entrust their hairstyles to his hands: Cate Blanchett, Heidi Klum, Naomi Watts and many others.

When asked why he got involved in the production of shampoos and hair masks, Kevin replies that he spent a long time trying to find the perfect hair care products and, frustrated, created his own line. A real idealist and master of his craft, so I expected at once that there would be a “wow!” Effect.

Hair type: The master immediately praised my natural hair, saying that in general it is in excellent condition, despite the fact that behind three months of winter and a two-week vacation on the beach. As you know, in the sun, hair becomes drier and requires intensive care. But mine withstood all the tests with dignity.

About the procedure: unlike many other products, you will immediately see the effect of Kevin Murphy cosmetics. The regularity of care is calculated individually; if you have good hair, then it is enough to visit the salon several times a month, if funds permit, you can and more often – it will not get worse. Still, professional care cannot be compared to home care! Personally, I really love when they wash my head, while massaging the scalp: at this moment the whole body gets goose bumps, and these 20 minutes become a real bliss!

After all the necessary products were on my hair, I had to sit like this for 15 minutes. During this time, I managed to drink a fresh latte, take a bunch of selfies and flip through the feed on Instagram. In general, time flew by quickly. Then we quickly washed off the whole thing and proceeded to styling.

Effect: Seeing myself in the mirror after styling, I immediately realized that Kevin Murphy is just a genius who did a great job – it’s not for nothing that his funds are so wildly popular in Europe! Hair was simply unrecognizable, it was never so lively and beautiful! I did the procedure in early April, and the result is still visible.

Evaluation: 10 of 10. I will definitely return to the salon to repeat the procedure!

Hair type: bleached, dry, frizzy, naughty and thin. In addition, from wet weather, a light (and sometimes not so much!) Fluff appears on my head, which is very difficult to get rid of. Irons do not help, and you don’t want to dry out your already problematic hair.

About the procedure: in the salon Mrs. Right.Natural Beauty, which managed to prove itself from the good side, I was offered to try a special gentle care that does not injure damaged hair, but, on the contrary, moisturizes it and gives it a healthy look. My master (or rather, a hair fairy) was a sweet girl Christina, who spoke in sufficient detail about the product itself and the means that will be applied to my hair. The master, having a cursory glance at my fluffy mane, noted that my hair is just a stylist’s dream. In the sense that they can perfectly test procedures aimed at deep moisturizing and hair restoration. The result will be visible immediately! And when I, it was, hinted that after so many lightenings, probably nothing would save me, Christina encouraged me that everything was fixable and after 8-10 restoring procedures my hair would become luxurious, shiny and, most importantly, healthy.

Inspired by such predictions, I plunged into the process itself. First, they washed my head with a special shampoo and did a relaxing massage – I think it’s not worth describing that I practically fell asleep and barely opened my eyes when the master, once again washing off the shampoo, applied, in fact, the care product itself, along the way talking about it amazing effect. Then I was sent to drink coffee and wait for the care to take effect. I had to wait about 20 minutes. During this time, I managed to drink an invigorating drink, leaf through the magazine and monitor all the news for the day. Then everything was washed off again, massaged and taken to styling.

Effect: Taking a look at my outfit, the master chose large curls for me and got down to business. Literally a few minutes later, a diva was looking at me from the mirror, no less. It was even a pity to spend the evening at home with such styling. Resolved! I’m going to meet my friends. Beauty will not be lost!

By the way, the next day and even the next day my hair looked amazing and for a while I forgot about the hated fluff!

Rating: 9 out of 10. Of course, for damaged hair, one procedure is not enough. But now I have an excuse to go back and take the full course in order to achieve the perfect result.
