- In hot weather, avoid getting water droplets on the leaves of the plant – this can cause sun burns. Use a watering can for watering or run a hose over the top of the flower bed.
- Increase the frequency of watering during budding and within 2 weeks after flowering. After this period, watering is stopped.
- Water the flowers as a dry crust forms on the surface of the soil. To better retain moisture in the ground, mulch the area around the plant regularly.
Experts recommend combining watering with feeding tulips. In this way, nutrients will quickly penetrate the flower bulb.
