The manufacturer of “Biolan” is JSC Nefis Cosmetics (Russia, Kazan). There are many other brands on the account of this OJSC – AOS, Sorti, BiMax, as well as baby powder “I was born“, which did not pass Roskontrol. Nefis Cosmetics has an official website.
Composition
SMS “Biolan” contains:
- surface-active components (surfactants) – more than 5%;
- oxygen bleach;
- enzymes;
- flavors.
It does not contain chlorine which is a plus. The manufacturer positions its products as phosphate-free.
Phosphates are compounds that, by softening water, improve the quality of washing things. At the same time, they negatively affect health. Much has been written about their harm, their harm has been recognized and proven, these compounds not only affect the internal organs of a person, but also destroy the entire ecosystem. In Europe, their use has long been banned. Why domestic manufacturers continue to use them is a separate issue.

“Biolan” is represented by several varieties of SMS:
- “White flowers” – for light cotton products, as well as other natural fabrics. It contains an optical brightener that gently cleanses impurities.

Cons:
- When poured into the washer, the effect is terrible – things seem to be “moth-beaten” (quote). In order to avoid stains on colored materials, it is necessary to first dissolve the powdery substance in hot water and only then pour it into the machine. But it cleans the sink and bath well. People agree to fuss with dissolution, as the cleansing effect is really good – no worse than expensive counterparts.
- After contact with water, it immediately gathers in lumps – a person prefers to fill SMS immediately into the drum. Due to the non-dissolution of the granules, whitish stains form on the clothes – for example, a jacket was damaged in this way. The agent was used for washing floors, stoves, bathtubs, etc.
“Economy Expert”
Universal agent for SMA and activator machines, for cotton and synthetics, white and light. Contains bleach and enzymes.
Pros:
- Good for lightly soiled things – quickly refreshes. It is profitable to wash T-shirts, socks, etc. a trifle.
- Saves money – it is 2-3 times cheaper than analogues.
- Convenient and beautiful packaging. Easy to open, contents smell good.
- Has a whitening effect.
- Suitable for any type of washer.

- “Unpredictable” (quote) – you never know what will be washed off and what will not. So, for example, the collars of shirts require mandatory pre-washing.
- The towel has darkened after several washes.

The last statement is not entirely correct – SMS may not cause irritation in some people, but this does not mean that it will not provoke allergies in others.
Cons:
- Handles only simple tasks. It does not remove stubborn and old dirt. Or you have to run the machine several times, but even here the result is not guaranteed. Or you need to apply a stain remover, and only then send it to the drum.
- Not suitable for silk and wool.
- Not suitable for those who ignore phosphate products.
White and color are put into the drum separately. Dark and children’s things are also set aside separately. For heavy soiling, it is recommended to slightly exceed the dosage indicated in the instructions.
“White flowers”
In terms of action and composition, it is similar to the “Economy Expert” product, but contains a flavoring additive.
Pros:
- Despite the “whitening effect” promised by the manufacturer, it is applicable to colored products. This fact can be regarded as a plus or minus – depending on the tasks. For colored, however, it is desirable to use cold water.
- Ideal for light everyday laundry.
- Has a pleasant aroma.
Cons:
- Not suitable for deep soiling. Does not have a powerful whitening effect. White, even after soaking, does not become whiter at all. You can easily wash colored things, and they will not change their color. The person who left the review, not paying attention to the “whitening”, washed his jeans with “White Flowers” – no negative changes occurred.
- No whitening promised. Obviously, due to the low content of peroxide salts, competitors have much more bleaching granules – the consumer concludes.
- Washing for 45 minutes at 30 degrees, it was not possible to whiten the light tights with high quality. The action is enhanced at 60 degrees and increasing the cycle time to two hours.
