How to find out the date of manufacture of SM from Samsung?

If you want to buy the “freshest” modification, you need to be able to find the year of manufacture – it is encrypted in the serial number of the device. It is a combination of Latin letters and numbers, for example – R38K503SRVD. In the case of the production date, you need the last character, if it is a letter, count 5 characters to the left. If the number ends with a number, also count from right to left in 5 steps.

• The sixth character from the left is the month of manufacture. This is a number that corresponds to the number of the month, or a letter: A – October, B – November, C – December.
• The seventh character from the left is the year of manufacture. So, Y – 2005, L – 2006, P – 2007, Q – 2008, S – 2009, Z – 2010, B – 2011, C – 2012, D – 2013, F – 2014, G – 2015, H – 2016, J – 2017, K – 2018, M – 2019, N – 2020.

How to find the serial number or IMEI?

If you could not find the serial number to find out the date of manufacture of the equipment, find the serial number by opening the hatch. The factory sticker can be located on the loop, as in the photo – the model is underlined in red, the serial code is in green.

Didn’t find the sticker inside the sunroof or is it damaged? Turn the washing machine “backward to the forest” – on the back you will see a sign, which also contains information.

What to look for when choosing?

Before you go to a store or virtual shopping in online stores of household appliances, decide on the main criteria by which you need to choose a good CMA:

• Type of shell. The machine can be both full-size and narrow – it all depends on whether you have free space in the bathroom or in the kitchen. By the way, check the dimensions right at the point of sale – up to the point that you bring a tape measure with you. In online stores, parameters such as width, height, and depth may not be specified correctly.
• Loading. Small – less than 7 kg, medium – 7-8 kg, large – 9-12 kg. If you live alone, the minimum load is enough, and for a large family – the more the better.
• Spin speed. In some older models, the drum speed is as low as 1000 rpm, but most SMs are capable of wringing at 1200 rpm. Also, 25% of the machines “press” 1400 rpm and only one CMA presses at 1600 rpm. The dryness of the laundry at the exit depends on the spin speed.
• Color spectrum. There are no black, red and other non-standard options, but there are noble white and silver cases, and the silver color can be light or dark.
• How much? The price tag is very different – from 18 to 990 rubles. In such a price difference, each buyer will find something for himself.

As you can see, even an inverter machine can make noise, but there are no complaints about the motor – it works silently, but the pump is really noisy, judging by the reviews. Remember that absolutely silent AGR does not exist, and with proper operation and installation, noise and vibration levels can be reduced to a minimum.

User reviews are quite subjective, maybe someone really needs to get used to the programs, but for someone this will not be a problem. As for the PVC tank, at such a cost, it is not surprising. So, at first glance, this is a good budget and at the same time functional washing machine with only one drawback – there is no protection against leaks. But this can be compensated by installing “Aquastop” on the hose.

I am sure that at this price you can find a CMA with a stainless steel tank and full leakage protection from competitors. But in general, the machine is not bad and will suit fans of Samsung technology with an extensive budget.
