Watrix – what is a wart?

A wart, also known as a wart, is a painless growth on the skin made of fibrotic and hardened skin. Kurzajki arise as a result of an infection of a person with the HPV virus (human papillomavirus). The lesions are harmless but highly contagious. Depending on a person’s immune system, warts may or may not come back. The human papillomavirus is easy to catch, but the treatment can be long. Sometimes warts disappear on their own. To assess whether a given skin lesion is definitely a wart, you should consult a dermatologist.

Watrix – how to use

The Wartix preparation works by freezing the wart with dimethyl ether. This method is a type of cryotherapy. The preparation has a special applicator that should be pressed tightly against the skin where there is a wart. It should be inside the applicator. Then release the freezing liquid by pressing the dispenser three times with your thumb and wait at least 10 seconds, then remove the applicator from the wart. You may experience a tingling or mild pain reaction when taking it off. It is also normal to see redness or blisters on the skin. Do not pierce them or scratch the frozen places. The frozen wart can be covered with a plaster.

After freezing, the wart should fall off by itself within 10 to 14 days. If this does not happen after the first treatment, the operation can be repeated. One wart can be frozen up to four times. If the treatments prove to be ineffective, you should visit a dermatologist.
