Kurzajki is a common problem faced by almost all of us. Kurzajki is caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), common in our environment. One of the means for quick wart removal is Wartix. What is it characterized by? How to use Wartix and what are the contraindications for its use?
Characteristics of the wart removal agent – Wartix
Kurzajki are skin lesions that occur on the hands, knees and face. They are characterized by a hard and rough surface. A wart can also appear on the feet, taking the form of hard edges with black spots in the center. One of the means for removing warts is Wartix based on the quick freeze method. It is a product that can be used by adults and children over 4 years of age. Wartix is a medical device with an automatic dose measuring mechanism, thanks to which it is safe and allows for effective wart removal at home. Wartix is an easy-to-use, effective and child-friendly product. The freezing liquid is applied directly to the wart, which is frozen down to the core within 10 seconds. This product is available at a pharmacy without a prescription. The suggested manufacturer price is PLN 28 per package containing 15 doses. The Wartix package includes a dispenser with an applicator containing dimethyl ether, protective patches, cleaning swabs and an information leaflet.
Usage of Wartix
Wartix, thanks to its innovative and easy-to-use applicator, can be used at home. After removing the product from the box, do not remove the plastic applicator from the dispenser. When starting the application of the product, point the wart upwards in such a way that it fits into the chamber of the Wartix applicator. After applying the applicator, so that it tightly adheres to the surface of the wart, press the dispenser three times with your thumb to release the freezing liquid. The applicator should be held on the duster for a minimum of 10 seconds, then remove it from the wart. After the Wartix treatment, you may experience a tingling sensation or slight pain and redness. After using the applicator, it should be cleaned with the cleaning swab included in the Wartix package. Usually, a single use of the applicator allows you to remove the wart. After using Wartix, the frozen wart may come off slightly and be very sensitive, then it is worth covering it with the protective plaster included in the set. The frozen wart should fall off after two weeks, if this does not happen, the treatment can be repeated. Before using Wartix, it is worth soaking the wart in water to soften it. Wartix can be used up to four times per one wart with two-week intervals between treatments.
Contraindications in the use of Wartix
The use of Wartix, although it is very simple and safe, may lead to local white spots on the skin caused by decreased pigmentation of the skin in the places where it freezes. Incorrect use of Wartix can cause frostbite, damage to the skin and even scarring. Wartix should not be used in children under 4 years of age, in people with diabetes or circulatory disorders, in the case of skin irritation or inflammation, in people allergic to cold or in the case of using another method of wart treatment. In addition, Wartix should not be applied to areas with delicate skin, i.e. face, neck, armpits, breasts and buttocks, genitals, birthmarks, moles and other skin lesions. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before using Wartix. If you experience disturbing symptoms after using Wartix or if you are unsure whether the affected place is a mite, consult your doctor before using the product or to continue treatment with the product.
Before use, read the leaflet, which contains indications, contraindications, data on side effects and dosage as well as information on the use of the medicinal product, or consult your doctor or pharmacist, as each drug used improperly is a threat to your life or health.
