For normal operation and good preservation of food, the doors of the refrigerator must be hermetically closed. If this does not happen, condensation will form on the walls. Over time, the problem leads to spoilage of products, an unpleasant odor and breakage of some components. Therefore, if you notice a skewed refrigerator door, do not hesitate, the problem must be solved immediately.

Why is the refrigeration door warped
The main reason that the door warped is the overload of the hinged shelves. Heavy bottles, cans pull the door down. These products will find a place on the shelf in the chamber, it is not necessary to completely clog the hinged door of the refrigerator.
With prolonged sagging, the bracket-loop is deformed, which fastens the door of the equipment from below. As a result, the part may break off, and you can no longer get off with an easy repair. A similar breakdown also occurs when the refrigeration equipment is not properly transported.
Fill the refrigerator evenly. The circulation of cold air between the products depends on this. If the shelves are tightly packed, the refrigeration will be poorer, resulting in food spoilage.
What to do if there is a gap between the door and the chamber? First of all check:
- take a sheet of thin paper;
- alternately insert a sheet around the entire perimeter of the chamber and close the door;
- where the sheet will sit tightly, the closure is airtight; where it will fall out or be easily pulled out, the tightness is broken.
If you are sure there is a gap, inspect the brackets. The adjustment of the mounting bolts will depend on where the door does not fit well.
How to fix the distortion yourself
To properly adjust the mounts, unplug the appliance from the mains and place it on a flat surface.

- Empty the shelves of the refrigerator from products.
- If there are bottom drawers, pull them out.
- Use a wrench to loosen the bracket fasteners. They do not need to be completely unscrewed, otherwise the fasteners cannot be obtained without disassembling the refrigerator.
- Use the key to adjust the height of the door. If there is a strong sagging, you can remove the pad in one of the attachment points. And, conversely, substitute the lining where you need to tighten the fasteners.
- Press the door harder against the body. Tighten loose fasteners.
Open and close the chamber several times. See how tightly the seal fits to the body. Is there enough door travel to turn on and off the light in the department. If something does not converge, you still need to adjust the fasteners.
If the seal does not fit well in certain places, try replacing it or straightening it. With frequent opening of the chamber or strong cotton when closing, the rubber seal is deformed. If it is old and worn out, replace it with a new element.
A good seal is enough to straighten with hot water. To do this, heat water in a kettle and pour a thin stream around the perimeter of the rubber, then immediately straighten it. Such repairs can be done independently.
