Walnut partitions – tincture on vodka or moonshine

Walnut partitions – almost the very first product used by mankind to improve homemade distillate, cheap, affordable and interesting. Repeatedly proven recipes do not stop improving, a variety of additives are used. Tincture on walnut partitions has a rich cognac color, interesting aroma and taste, and besides, it has a lot of medicinal properties.

Since childhood, I remember that homemade “cognac” is made from walnut membranes. It is impossible to say that this is actually the case – there are recipes that imitate the taste of cognac much more accurately. However, this does not mean that the tincture of walnut partitions on vodka is a bad drink. Very good, but not like cognac. The taste and aroma, and most importantly, its color are so interesting that gradually the recipe went beyond just refining moonshine – now this tincture is made on alcohol, and even on purchased vodka. Today we will learn several recipes for this potion – with and without additives – and also talk about its properties: useful and vice versa.

Tinctures and drinking tinctures from walnut partitions

The first question that arises for anyone who is going to prepare a tincture on walnut membranes is how much, in fact, to put these same membranes? Information on the Internet varies – some advise filling the jar to the top, others – putting only a tablespoon per liter, or even 2-3. Where is the truth?

Nut tincture. Benefits and Applications

In fact, everything is quite simple. The specifics of the Russian language are to blame for the confusion – in our country, both a healing drug and an alcoholic drink are called “tincture”. Experienced moonshiners are struggling with this discrepancy, gradually introducing into use the simple and beautiful word “tincture” – a medicinal tincture. Let’s join their efforts!

Nut tincture should not be lapped with cans! It contains a lot of various beneficial components, and, as you know, the medicine from the poison differs only in dosage. They make it on the basis of: membranes of 20-25 nuts for only 100 grams of medical alcohol, and use 10 drops three times a day. This mixture is used:

  • As a source of iodine. With iodine deficiency, the endocrine glands do not work well, especially the thyroid and prostate suffer.
  • For various stomach disorders and diarrhea. Partitions in excess contain easily released tannins, including tannin, which have a fixing effect.
  • At elevated pressure. Another magic drug that lowers blood pressure, which is very important for hypertensive patients and VVD-shnikov, of whom the majority are among us.
  • For the prevention of oncology, especially breast and prostate cancer.
  • For the prevention of heart disease. Gamma-tocopherol, a rare subspecies of vitamin E, is considered very beneficial for the heart.
  • To raise male strength, immunity, improve hormonal levels and general well-being.

By the way, there is a simple test that will determine whether you need to additionally consume iodine or whether it is enough in the body. Just paint an iodine strip on your hand or other area of the skin and leave it overnight. If it disappears in the morning – run to drink walnut tincture!

Our tincture also has contraindications. It should not be used by people with increased blood clotting, gastritis or ulcers, low blood pressure, psoriasis and eczema.

The simplest tincture of walnut membranes on alcohol

Of course, in a sense, all the above useful and harmful properties are retained by the usual “drinking” tincture. After all, it is iodine that gives it color, and tannins give it a “noble” astringent aftertaste. Therefore, all recommendations and contraindications for use are preserved, only on a reduced scale. Although it depends on how much you lick it …

A simple recipe for tincture on walnut partitions is as follows:

Walnut partitions – tincture on vodka or moonshine

  • 2 liters of alcohol or moonshine 45%
  • 1/3 cup webbed walnuts

How to cook:

Pour the membranes into a three-liter jar, close tightly and leave in a dark, cool place for one week. Then strain, slightly sweeten (sugar, honey, syrup) to taste, let rest for 2-3 days and can be consumed.

This drink has a beautiful color and pleasant taste. But his aroma is weak, but nobility is not enough. Therefore, various additives can be added to the partitions. The most common: half a prunes, a third of a glass of cherry twigs, a tablespoon of wild rose, a tablespoon of oak bark (or / or).

There are, of course, several more complex and interesting recipes. About them – below.

We ennoble moonshine with walnut membranes

There are many recipes for tinctures on walnut partitions. I chose 2 – in my opinion, the most interesting ones – from the forum of homedistiller.ru moonshiners. One of them is with honey and spices, and the other is with tea, spices and oak chips, “under cognac”.

Spicy tincture of walnut partitions

Walnut partitions – tincture on vodka or moonshine

  • 1 liter of vodka, alcohol or moonshine 40-50%
  • 50 grams of walnut webs
  • 1 bud of carnation
  • 1-2 small cinnamon sticks
  • 2 tbsp. l. honey – better than transparent, May

How to do it:

Throw all the ingredients into a jar, pour alcohol, mix well. Set aside for about 2 weeks, in a dark place, shaking occasionally. The last couple of days do not touch, so that the dregs settle. After that, decant the drink and pass through a cotton filter, leave to rest for another week. If necessary, filter again, since cinnamon and honey contain a lot of impurities, and a precipitate will inevitably appear.

Such a drink with exposure becomes much better. But it is impossible to overexpose it together with the membranes – otherwise there will be too many astringents in it.
