Architectural studio Tham & Videgård Hansson has come up with an original color scheme for a Stockholm apartment. The range of rooms follows the seasonal changes in vegetation in the nearby park.
Parquet and walls, as if obeying the laws of nature, smoothly change their color: the bright greenery of spring prevails over the dull gray-black winter. It is being replaced by a sunny yellow summer, which gradually turns into crimson, turning into an orange-red autumn. Brown shades of rotten foliage are washed out by snow …
The enfilade arrangement of the rooms also plays into the hands of the idea – it allows you to enjoy the color perspectives of the “coming season”.
To balance this impressive riot of colors, the ceilings and almost all of the furniture in the apartment are white.
