Walking lunges with a barbell — technique exercises:

  1. Starting position: barbell on shoulders, feet shoulder width apart.
  2. Take a step forward. Bending your knees, lower yourself up until the knee almost touches the ground. The back must remain straight, and front knee to be directly over the feet.
  3. Straighten, straightening your knees and pulling rear leg forward.
  4. Repeat the lunge on the other leg.
