The Volume Diet is a joint effort by Dr. Barbara Rolls and journalist RA Burnett. Although it is several years old, it is currently not popular among people on a diet, which is a pity because this slimming system can only provide us with benefits.

The basic rule is that we can eat more low-calorie products. When losing weight, you use generally available products. If you want to be successful, you need to change your eating habits and find time for at least a daily walk.

Division into groups of food products

When starting a diet, we must remember about the division into four food groups.

  1. Products from the first classification can be consumed without restrictions because they are low in calories. This includes fruits, vegetables and non-fat milk.
  2. We eat foods from the second group at will, which have a little more calories. It includes legumes, cereal products, as well as lean meat.
  3. We must start to watch out for medium-calorie products, included in the third group, such as cheese, meat or bread.
  4. However, we should completely exclude oil, sweets and salty snacks such as chips, nuts, crackers, chocolates and bars.
