Method of preparation

A layer 5 we thick is rolled out of unleavened puff pastry and cakes are cut out with a corrugated notch of a round or oval shape, two for each volovan. Half of the cakes are placed on a sheet moistened with cold water and smeared with melange. The second flat cakes with the cut out middle are applied to them. The products are greased with melange and baked at a temperature of 250-260 C for 25-30 minutes. For croutons, cakes are cut out of the rolled dough with an oval corrugated notch, which are laid on a sheet, smeared with melange and baked. Tovans and croutons are used to prepare hot and cold snacks and second courses.
