Volochkova’s twine and not only
Ballerina Anastasia Volochkova regularly demonstrates excellent stretching and now, as soon as the Olympics began, she was photographed on the football field in a twine pose – standing with one foot on the ground, lifting the other up. So the star decided to support the athletes in Rio.
The residents of Chelyabinsk also have something to show – at the Olympics in Rio, a gorgeous banner will be shown by taekwondo player Anastasia Baryshnikova, our hope for a medal! Ordinary residents of Chelyabinsk are not lagging behind – they demonstrate their abilities in social networks. Woman’s Day found pictures of our flexible.
Anastasia Baryshnikova, 25 years old, participant of the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, taekwondo:
Katya Fisher, 27 years old, TV presenter, model:
“I’ve been doing the splits since childhood, so now it’s enough just to keep fit in order not to lose flexibility. Sometimes I read or watch TV in a twine. To be flexible means to be graceful, not to feel constrained in movement at any age. Flexibility is an indicator of youth. “
Tatiana Mararash, 26 years old, advertising worker:
“As a child, I always had good flexibility. But over time, all sports faded into the background. And only a couple of years ago I wanted to return the old opportunities again. After each strength or cardio workout, I stretched, each time the distance to the floor was less. The muscles must be warmed up. After a couple of months she sat down on her right leg, the left one was more difficult, but soon she sat down “on both legs”. The longitudinal twine is still in the plans, I can’t do it myself, I will go for stretching in the near future ”.
Liana Stoilovskaya, 29 years old, beauty worker:
“I started splits at the age of 7, when I started doing gymnastics. It was difficult, there were tears, but desire and persistence helped. Later I realized that sports and gymnastics are for me. Helps keep the body in good shape. The exercises were as follows: sitting on the floor, legs apart, stretching to the center, then to the right and left legs alternately. You can also have a little help from above, lightly pressing on your back with light swaying. And lying on your back, lifting your legs up, spread them in different directions, you also need a “friend’s help” – slightly press on your legs. “
Anastasia Alekseenko, 21, dance coach:
“I have been sitting on the cross twine since childhood – I don’t even remember how it happened. But on the right and left legs began to pull 6-7 years back. Previously, it dragged on 2-3 times a week, then started every day. First, I stretched through the video lessons, and then, when I started working as a dance coach, I went for a couple of stretching workouts and just remembered all the exercises. When she began to sit on all three splits without pain, she continued to stretch even further, sitting on the sagging splits, with the help of special cubes. Feet are placed on them, and you sit on the twine above the floor. It took me three months to fully sit down. “
Vasilina Voynova, student:
“All my childhood I was engaged in rhythmic gymnastics, then I abandoned it, but it was mainly thanks to her that the muscles remained quite flexible. So already at an older age, thanks to regular aerobics classes at the university, I was able to sit down on twine again. At the university, aerobics championship is held every year, and a team that can perform difficult elements has a better chance of winning. Therefore, the twine gives me an advantage in the competition. “
Oleg Bismarck, club promoter, art director:
“I have always been inflexible, but I mastered the twine in 2 months. I went to the gym three times a week and stretched there. The muscles ached at first, and then got used to it. The main thing is to do the splits – regularity. In four months I have already mastered the difficult elements: reverse twine and rolls. “
Tatyana Istomina, 25 years old, makeup artist:
“I sat on the twine on April 20 this year. I have long wanted to learn this, and before I sat down, I started having a dream almost every day that I did it. After each workout, I warmed up the muscles – by jogging or on an ellipse machine, from 10 to 60 minutes, after which I went to stretch through the pain. Spent two weeks to do the splits. “
Maria Bespalova, 30 years old, entrepreneur:
“I have very flexible parents, it passed on to me. I sit down on any twine without difficulty. Even if I haven’t done it for a year or more. I sit down without warming up and preliminary stretching. When I was 4 years old, my father took me to work out at the gym, where they taught me how to make a “fold”, taught me to stretch. And then there were dances – pop, club, pole dance. I even taught a little pole dance, but not for long. I realized that teaching is not mine. Now I stretch after my morning run, and when the time comes, I go for aero yoga or strip dance. I didn’t give up stretching even during pregnancy ”.
Elena Dovgal, copywriter, yoga instructor:
“I never liked twine and didn’t even want to sit on it. But when you do yoga, the body itself somehow gradually stretches in all directions, and at some point you begin to understand that you can easily reach your nose with your big toe, and even the twine turns out by itself. In general, the key to splits is to relax the mind. As soon as the fears go away, the body, due to relaxation, makes it possible to do whatever it wants with itself. “
