Vogue

Champagne Vogue (Vogue) appeared as a result of cooperation between the leadership of the glossy magazine of the same name and specialists from the Russian company Beluga Group. The brand is produced by the largest manufacturer in the south of Russia, Kuban-Vino. The design of the brand corresponds to the name – the designers managed to combine luxury and minimalism, which reflects modern fashion trends.

Brand History

Vogue is a joint project of the Beluga Group alcohol holding and the French publishing house Conde Nast. For the Russian distributor, this was the first experience in the production of sparkling wines, since until that moment the company’s portfolio of brands included only hard alcohol brands. The tasks were difficult – not only to create a high-quality drink, but also to develop a brand design concept that reflects the style of Vogue magazine.

Designers were inspired by the latest trends in the fashion industry, which are characterized by smooth lines, a minimum of details and an abundance of metallic sheen. Gold and platinum are used in the decoration of the logo, the bottles are coated with a mirror reflective coating. This method of decorating a wine brand is used in Russia for the first time.

The release of the first batch of Vogue took place at the end of 2015, the presentation was timed to coincide with the New Year holidays. The brand aroused great interest even before its appearance, so the champagne was sold out instantly. Sparkling wine in sparkling bottles has become an obligatory attribute of secular parties organized by glossy magazines.

Beluga Group cooperates with two Russian wineries. The first bottling of Vogue took place at the Russian Azov enterprise, but its capacity was not enough, so the production was transferred to Kuban-Vino. The company owns 12 thousand hectares of vineyards on the Taman Peninsula, where Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Pinot Blanc varieties are grown, which are necessary for making glamorous champagne.
